JUDGES WOWED BY ANGELZ

By Sophy Ridge

GORGEOUS girl band Fallen Angelz wowed the judges on last night’s X-Factor show.

The London wannabes Bobbi, 24, Rachelle, 23, Mollie, 19, and Nicola, 24, have been together for two years and impressed the panel with their cover of Avril Lavigne's I Don't Like Your Girlfriend.

Dannii said: "I'm really excited about you guys".

Judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Sharon Osborne travelled to Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow in last night's show, in their bid to find the next X-Factor winner.

Simon met his biggest fan - 31-year-old Toshiko who travelled 5,936 miles from Japan to meet her idol.

She told him: "I like you very much Simon, I came here just to meet you."

Her version of My Way wasn't up to scratch, but Simon took a shine to the 31-year-old and told her, "you're very cute, I may have to take you home."

But Simon quickly went back to his Mr Nasty character, and reduced one band to tears.

It’s About Time are a family affair, consisting of two sisters and their husbands.

Simon cut short their version of We Built This City, and said: "My advice is just do carol singing at Christmas time, make a bit of money, but that's about as far as it's ever gonna go."

He added: "Everything is wrong, the image, the lack of charisma, it was boring."

And Simon also upset the Scots at the Glasgow auditions, when he couldn't help having another pop at last year's twosome The MacDonald Brothers.

He said to a room packed of Scots: "I just want to apologise for having the MacDonald Brothers representing Scotland last year. We're here to make sure that this year someone fantastic represents Scotland."

The crowd responded with a chorus of boos.
