KEITH ALEXANDER is still looking for his first points of the season after his Macc side crashed 2-0 at Accrington.

It was all too easy for Stanley, who chalked up their first home win thanks to goals by Paul Mullin and Jimmy Ryan.

A dull first half contained very few clear-cut chances, although John Mullin went close with one effort for the home side early on.

But John Coleman’s side burst into life when Paul Mullin volleyed home from John Miles’ corner five minutes after the break.

And was 2-0 10 minutes later when another Miles corner set up Ryan to fire in a shot which went through Jon Brain.

Stanley keeper Kenny Arthur made a good stop to deny Gareth Evans late on and keep his clean sheet.
