All pretty run of the mill here. Apart from at his 30th birthday, 18 months ago, when Beattie wore a PINK three-piece suit with matching shirt, tie and shoes.
He wasn't the only culprit though. Former team-mate Gary Naysmith turned up in a pink kilt.
CRIB
Beattie's invested in a seven-bedroom £2 million home in the mega-rich football area of Cheshire. It boasts a cinema room and a snooker room to keep his footie pals entertained when they visit.
BLING
James mixes the old with the new here. He alternates between a £30,000 Jacob & Co watch with a diamond-encrusted face and bezel, and a classy £10,000 vintage Rolex.
WHEELS
Poor James spent an extra £10,000 on having his £160,000 Lamborghini Gallardo sprayed royal blue to match his Everton kit, only to be sold to red-and-white-wearing Sheffield United.
Then boss Bryan Robson said he'd turn his cars into 'knives and forks' if he ever turned up to training in it again.
