RAFA BENITEZ wants Fabio Aurelio's future to be resolved before the end of December.

The Liverpool full-back is out of contract next summer and will be available to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs from January 1.

The Brazilian, 30, is injury prone but there is no doubting his quality and boss Benitez wants to hand him a two-year deal.

Aurelio has just been called up to the Brazil squad and would have been among those facing England in Doha yesterday but for an injury sustained in training.

He'll have no shortage of suitors if Liverpool don't move quickly.

The Liverpool manager will have to offload players in January to raise more finances, however.

To raise funds he hopes to sell Andrea Dossena, Andriy Voronin and Ryan Babel for a combined total of at least £10million.

A player of Babel's quality cant be sold any where else the coach needs to give him more games to score more goals.
