BLADES TO LAND CITY ATTACKER
SHEFFIELD UNITED will land Stoke striker Richard Cresswell in a £500,000 January deal.
Cresswell is currently on loan with the Blades after dropping out of the first-team picture at the Britannia Stadium.
He smashed just 11 goals in 75 games during two years with the Potters, while at United he already has one from three appearances.
The 32-year-old former Preston and Leeds ace said: "We're hoping to get something sorted out.
"This is a fantastic club and discussions are ongoing."
Tony Pulis is prepared to cash in on the experienced hitman as he may dip into the market himself when the transfer window reopens.
