SALGADO FANCIES MLS ADVENTURE

BLACKBURN'S Michel Salgado has revealed he wants to end his playing career in America.

Salgado, 34, joined Rovers from Real Madrid in the summer and scored his first goal for the club in the Carling Cup win over Peterborough in midweek.

But he is already planning to follow in the footsteps of former Real team-mate David Beckham by making a splash in MLS.

He said: "I have two years on my contract at Blackburn. Depending on my fitness I will then play in the United States."

Salgado made over 250 appearances for Real during a memorable career at the Bernabeu but he has no plans to hang up his boots once his stint at Ewood Park comes to an end.
