The England midfielder may be out injured at the moment but we take a look into an aspect of his life away from the pitch.

Gerrard is slaughtered by his mates for refusing to budge from his V-neck top or polo shirt and jeans combo.

He dresses them up with pointy shoes if he's out on the town and dresses them down with Adidas trainers.

He makes more effort with his jewellery and owns two exclusive Rolex Daytona watches, though he probably admires them more as pieces of engineering than fashion items.

It seems Stevie leaves this sort of thing to wife Alex Curran, one of Britain's style icons.

THERE is a rather bizarre sight in store for anyone who happens to wander inside Gerrard's beautiful £3million home in Formby, Liverpool.

The midfielder's impressive collection of famous football jerseys all adorn 40 rotating mannequins.

And nestled among the Gennaro Gattusos and Alessandro Del Pieros is a Jamie Carragher shirt, which Gerrard admits only gets in there because he is his mate.

GADGETS

GETS his day-to-day business done on two no-frills Nokias. But, after becoming a victim of burglary two years ago, Gerrard has invested in a £200,000 security system with a direct link to the police.

HANG OUTS

SINCE vowing to give up on wild nights out, Stevie G has been spotted spending even more time wandering around the shops in the Trafford centre with his missus, Alex Curran.

But the England star's favourite haunt still remains his bedroom as he is famous for indulging in regular afternoon naps.

WHEELS

GERRARD has a Range Rover with a £30,000 Overfinch customised kit on it, including modified bumpers, a spoiler and side vents.

And he also zooms around in a convertible Bentley GT, which will set you back well over £100,000.

Both cars are always kept in pristine condition because Steven is obsessed with cleanliness.
