Tigers boss Brown is lining up a £4million swoop for the Leicester hitman, who banged in 32 goals last term as the Foxes won League One.
Fryatt, 23, joined Leicester from Walsall for £350,000 in January 2006 and signed a new 3½-year deal with the Foxes last December.
But City would find it difficult to turn down a big offer for Fryatt, who scored four goals in six appearances for England Under-19's.

Btw Mike "Next season Hull will be in the CC and Leicester will be in the prem, so why would he go? Maybe money will be the deciding factor.

You can offer leicester all the money in the world and i still think fryatt would want to stay and lcfc would not want to sell!!!!! C'mon Fryatt!!!!

i dont think we should sell him at the minute. i think we should try and keep fryatt with us untill the end of the season then sell him as we will be in the prem and we will need the money for a prem striker if we want to stay there.

I'm a big Leicester fan, but Matty Fryatt is not a premier league player. If we didnt have a striker issue ourselves at the moment i'dsnap hull's hand off. I'm still at a loss to understand how he scored 32 goals last season quite frankly.
Phil Brown, you are barking if you think Fryatt can help you.

What striker problem? With Altidore, Hunt and Ghilas now in place we are more in need of a right back and a central midfielder. Matty is a great league player but could he really make it in the Prem?
