RICARDO GARDNER'S SIXY BET

Kids' hospice is winner whatever the result

JUST GRAND - Ricardo Gardner

BOLTON midfielder Ricardo Gardner will give £1,000 to charity if he fails to score six goals this season.

But, if he hits his target, Trotters boss Gary Megson will have to fork out the grand.

The bizarre bet will ensure Lancashire children's hospice Derian House benefits either way.

The Jamaica international, 30, said: "Last week I told the gaffer I was aiming for six goals this season.

"He said if I get six he would pay a grand to the hospice. If I don't, I have to pay up."
