KEEP TAKING TABLETS - Bradley Saunders

BRADLEY SAUNDERS is Britain’s walking medicine chest.

The light-welterweight, 22, will be on a diet of four antibiotic tablets a day until he returns from the Olympics.

Then Saunders faces the fourth op on a hand injury which doctors told him three years ago had ended his boxing career.

He said: “I broke the three main bones in my left hand when I hit a sparring partner on his hip. The only way they could save my career was to insert a plate and pins.

“I trained so hard for 12 months trying to make the Olympics team that I bent the plate.

“I then needed treatment on an infection and I’ll have the metal remnants out later this year.”
