SIR ALEX FERGUSON has banned Manchester United players from holding their own Christmas bash.
The United boss has ruled out a repeat of last year’s private gig when they bussed in groups of women to a luxury hotel in Manchester city centre.
Sir Alex read them the riot act after the party where defender Johnny Evans was falsely accused of rape.
The United boss will insist they attend an official club do with their partners.
And Fergie is determined his mega-rich squad do not indulge in extragavent public displays of their wealth when others are suffering financial hardship.
A United source said: “Sir Alex was raging at the situation his players found themselves in last year.
“A few of the lads were starting to talk about getting a venue for this year but their celebrations will now be very low-key and involve the gaffer every step of the way.
“He doesn’t expect them to be virtual saints but he puts a lot of store in them involving partners, and knows it will keep them all on the straight and narrow.”

to WILKY, how can you call yourself a man united fan? not finishing in the top 3 are u mental, the league is ours to lose just look at our team and the form rooneys in. and scholes is still a vital member of our team, no one can dictate a midfield and unlock a defense like scholesy and giggs has been fantastic in the middle. do everyone a favour go support chelsea like the rest of the plastic fans who jump on bandwagons and stop disgracing our club

Will someone pleease tell manager, Alex Fergusson to do his job as a head coach or quit. Of late, he is behaving more like a politician making flimsy excuses when things go wrong and poking his long nose on other clubs' matters which do not concern Man Utd. Pleeease will someone tell Alex Fergusson that he should shut up and concentrate on getting mid good midfielders and not the old and grumpy Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes who would only say goodbye when Alex would be finally be kicked out. I am a Man. UTD fan and supporter, but I can't see us in the top three this season. I can take a bet from the gambling soccer dad, Alex.

Iv read the usual biggoted and narrow-minded views of the Anti United brigade day after day, and quite frankly it gets so boring!!
