The Gunners skipper is top of the Spanish giants' wanted list but has constantly denied rumours he could join them in the summer.
Yet, speaking on Catalunya Radio, the former Nou Camp youth ace confirmed: "I've never hidden the fact that, one day, I will return to Barcelona.
"Barcelona is the best city in the world to live in and the quality of life is great.
"I know it very well.
"Since I was nine months old, my grandfather would take me to the Barca stadium and I spent all my life wearing those colours."
However, he insists he is NOT going to join them in the summer.
"I have not been called by anyone. Neither me nor my agent," he added.
"I can only speak from what I know and answer what I know.
"But when I retire, I will live in Barcelona."

I think Cesc will join Barca after one or two more seasons with the Gunners, i don't think he could leave until he has won the premeirship or champions league as captain. Also by then Xavi will be very close to retirement and Cesc is the ideal replacement for him. Arsenal get £45mill and by then Ramsey will be two more years older, experienced and stronger! Last Wenger will finished his current contract then and he will go when Cesc goes or vice versa!
