UPTON SPARK - Valon Behrami

SWITZERLAND star Valon Behrami will be offered a lucrative new contract to stay at West Ham.

The midfield ace signed a five-year contract when he moved from Lazio for £5million last summer but has constantly been linked with a move away.

Both Juventus and AC Milan are keen on taking Behrami, 24, back to Italy, while Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the Kosovan-born star.

Despite struggling for cash, West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola is desperate to hang on to Behrami.

And the club have already opened talks about improving his contract.

Promising young Wales midfielder Jack Collison, 20, is also ready to sign a new five-year deal to tie him to the East London club.
