MIDNIGHT HAZE, Hereford 2.35

FORMER star trainer Kim Bailey is back in form at last - and his MIDNIGHT HAZE could not have been more impressive at Kempton last week.

Handicapped from a time when the Bailey horses had all kinds of problems, he's clearly better than a horse rated 106.

And at Kempton he jumped and galloped his rivals into the ground.

Hereford is a similar kind of track and Bailey is striking while the iron is hot by running him in today's 2.35 under a 7lb penalty before the horse goes right up in the handicap.

On face value, you wouldn't go mad over any chaser with 12 stone on its back but Midnight Haze is clearly a class apart from his rivals in this grade.

And if he finds similar form to his Kempton effort, they shouldn't see which way he goes granted a clear round of jumping.

IN addition to providing you with a nap a day, Pegasus also has a brilliant text service.
