WHAT have Liverpool's new signing Alberto Aquilani and Lady Ga Ga got in common?
Inventive Koppites wanted a chant for their £20million man and have come up with a song to the tune of Ga Ga's hit 'Paparazzi'.
Whether 'I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me, Aqua, Aqualani' will be endorsed by hard-core Scousers is a matter for debate..
TORRES TOUR
LIVERPOOL star Fernando Torres should ask the city's tourist board for a commission.
Torres lives in the posh Woolton area, yards from John Lennon's old house and Strawberry Field.
Japanese tourists being guided to see Fab Four landmarks are also being driven past Fernando's house in the hope of catching a glimpse of him.
No wonder the Spanish press dubbed Torres 'the fifth Beatle'.
WELCOME HOME
CARLOS TEVEZ has commisioned the infamous Welcome to Manchester poster as wallpaper for his luxury home.
The Manchester City striker, 25, paid £2,000 for a 20ft digital print to hanf in the games room of his Cheshire pile.
And the £25m Argie star, who controversially quit Manchester United this summer for their blue rivals, is also sending a further copy to his place back in Buenos Aires.
Tevez fell in love with the cheeky tribute - which cost City £40,000 to produce and left his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson seeing red - when the 40ft billboard went up in the Deansgate area of Manchester back in August.

LIVERPOOL know when boss Rafa Benitez is feeling under most pressure - his media watch-dog Juan Francesco returns to the club.
Francesco - not employed by the Reds - reports to the Kop boss on every TV and print utterance.
He hadn't been seen since last season but he's been back in recent weeks.

@Brian-Its not surprising that you conveniently left out the fact that Scousers dubbed the "When Johnny goes marching home again" song which was sung for John O'Shea and altered the lyrics and sang it for Torres.Fact of the matter, most tunes for football chants are taken from other songs.
You outlandishly claim that United is obsessed with Pool?Name one sensible reason why we would be obsessed with scousers.We are a much bigger club than Pool in almost every respect (talk about the larger fan base all over the world,gate-takings,total annual revenue etc.)We have won the league 11 times in the past 17 years while you desperately cling on to the hazy memory of Alan Hansen lifting the 1st Division cup in '90.How dare you try to extol yourselves to the level of Man United.Rafael da Silva a 19year-old has won more Premier League titles than THE WHOLE LIVERPOOL SQUAD COMBINED and need not I remind everyone that he has only won it once!!!!
You are struggling to qualify to the knockout stages of the UCL and you start blaming it on injuries.How preposterous is that?Are injuries endemic to the Lpool squad?Everything about Lpool spells disaster and confusion.Benitez cruelly recalls Voronin from Hertha Berlin were he was having a meaningful loan-spell only to refuse him adequate gametime and play the likes of the weak-legged Ngog ahead of him.You have 3 genuine left-wingers in Benayoun,Babel and Riera while Aurelio, El Zhar and Dossena sometimes play there as well and yet you only have one sensible right-winger in Kuyt who by the way isn't a right-winger to begin with.You buy Keane for 19mil then sell him for 12mil 6 months later which is further evidence of Benitez' demented transfer policies.He has bought a total of 67 players in his five years in office (which is more than United,Chelsea or Gooners) and yet we can all see the frailties in the squad.In the light of all these problems,the Liverpool entity as a whole pathetically continues to spew forth redundant rhetoric such as You'll Never Walk Alone.
To be honest up until recently I did not care about Lpool.You guys were never title contenders for as far as I can remember you have only managed to finish 2nd twice since the inception of the EPL.But when you start trying to compare yourselves (with some like you even suggesting that you are a bigger club than United) to the Premier League Champions,it really infuriates me.
If any Lpool fan out there has the audacity to respond to this then please spare me those baseless arguments and as your manager once rightly pointed out last season,"I only want to talk about facts here"

Well said Corgan, Hamer was just ridiculously blatant there with no proof. Utd chants are notoriously badly thought out, unoriginal and many are just plain camp.
I'm sure it won't stick, like many of Lady Gaga's costumes, so enjoy the Aquilani chant while it lasts lol.

Mouser. Cant belive you are serious when you say Man Utds songs are better and more original than Liverpools. Do you mean such classics as like the one to the theme of country roads haha classic...Or the Ryan Giggs robin hood song. or that Wayne rooney classic. Or our old mate Neville is a red. You are having a Laffff mate.
Almost all Man utd songs talk about how you hate other teams rather than how good your own team is. It is rare that Man Utd play against ANYONE without singing IF YOU ALL HATE THE SCOUSERS CLAP YOUR HANDS. Why is this?? I ll tell you why: its because you are obsessed with us. You are sick with jealousy that you werent born a supporter of the legendary Anfield team, known and beloved throughout the whole world.
Try and have some heart, but sadly you will WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE, unlike the mighty reds, who, like our beloved troops, will truely NEVER WALK ALONE...
