Yes!!! I agree with you guys, if he doesn't change his disastrous attitude, Rafa is destroying our mighty Liverpool. Buying scrap is his business and selling off good players; Guthrie, Mellor, to name it.
He has destroyed every good player at Anfield, he's dropped young. Rafa change your attitude, other wise you're destroying our club.

Leave the geezer alone!! He's the man to bring the glory back to the football club. By all means analyse his performance but look at the flipsilde for every bad buy there been a decent sale... We haven't got money to throw at the problem, we have to generate it (with sales) or show we're gonna get it back (by selling).. But we still compete.. I say in order to buy 1 we've gotta sell 2 the squad size (of players that actually play) must shrink. People say we've got the biggest squad thats because our reserve team has to be added to the names of 1st teamers we have.
Have we been able to put out Reina, Johnson, Skrtel or Agger, Carra Aurelio Mascherano, Aquallani, Kuyt, Benayoun, Gerrard, Torres as a team yet??? No. So like I said get off the geezers back. He'll come good..... U shallow can't remember last season n why we've taken a step back idiots!! In Rafa we trust!!!!!!!!!!

I personally feel that watching all the way from Australia, that I lost all respect for Benitez when he spent £20m on a player that hasn't been playing since may due to injury when he could have spent money on a striker that we desperatly need. The Americans have got to go and hopefully the new owners will have more funds to bring us D Villa and finally build Stanley Park. btw why bring back an average player like Riise when he left in the first place. When need to move forward and not backwards!!!

Rafa has been here for 5 years moaning about the lack of support from the board in terms of transfers. Net spend of 20 million! How many of the players going out were his players that came in the first place? Granted it took him 2 years to shift Houlliers misfits, but for the past 3 years they have been his. As for our youth policy we have had some good young players come through only to be played in the last few games of current seasons(Hobbs,Potter, Guthrie, Spearing must of been crapping himself as to were he would be playing this season) only to be sold to raise cash for inferior players Degen,Pennant , a Greek fella who's name i can not say never mined spell.If Rafa had spent his 20m on 1 or 2 class players over the past 5 years we would have a least 5 - 10 class players on the books to go with the likes of Torres, Gerrard,Carragher,Riena,Masherano, by doing this he would be able to introduce 1 or 2 younger players(which Satan from down the 62 does). As for our reserves not having any talent Della Valle,Petchecho and Eclleston are all players who would do well given half the chance and look out for Tom Ince all the attributes of his dad plus twice as much skill.So we do have the young players but with the tosh that we have it is to much of a risk putting them in.

i honestly can't help watching games, i wonder what Gerrard tought yesterday. Rafa defended his desician regarding Torres , what about Benajun ,can he explain why he played him out of position and why he changed him ? both players showed there disbelief for being changed and even said bad words on there way.
i think rafa is under so much pressure is doesn't know what is he doing. it is better if he go away altough i have my doubts because 20 million are very nice , who is going to pay him that salary, maybe Real Madrid !!! he will not last 2 or 3 games he will already have been sent away for good.

Riise is okay. Not great. Would be a useful squad player, and if it means getting rid of Dossena then it's two birds with one stone. Would mean Babel is used more on the right instead of the left, where he plays awful.

what manager in their right mind is going to want to take over?

they will want assurances on transfer policy. our owners have shown they cant be trusted. i dont see any takers for that job. if there are they will probably be a fudge. better the devil we know i think.

Andrew, Mascherano is captain for Argentina and one of the best defensive midfielders in the world as well as a top target for the best team in the world, Barcelona. How can you say he was a crap buy? And for us being a 2 man team, so what? United has been a one man team for years until Ronaldo left.

I feel our problem stems from several angles. First of all we should never had sold the clubs to the Americans and at present we are in no position to compete in the transfer market with our rivals. Liverpool F.C buys a 2 million pound 30 year old defender!!?? what team trying to win the league does that??????

Secondly we have too many avarage players & not enough great players. I agree with most of the names given above as not good enough except Macherano. have still not have replaced Alonso and until Aquilani comes into the squad we are short of quality which has to go down to Rafa.

Thirdly Rafa continues to play people out of position, which makes players look even more avarage. Babel is suppose to be a striker yet he is played in 99% of his games in left midfield. Babel is crap with his left foot & always tries to come inside players, any good player will always read what Babel will try to do yet we have Reira & Aurelio who are natural left footed players. Kuyt is played on the right side of midfield but is a striker. Gerrard should be played in central midfield as an attacking midfielder and not as a striker.

Riise should never have been sold and should have played as an attacking left midfielder and not in defence, when we play attacking football we can beat anyone.

Our overall stength in depth is lacking by the avarage level of ability that sits on our bench each game compared to other teams. Who in our youth team is outstanding and kicking down the door of the 1st team?? Plessis looks ok but needs to be a bit more solid, Martin Kelly looks as if he will be a good player, Spearing has been ok, Insua is not the finished article, El Zahr is ok. Look at Man Utd Chelsea & Arsenal youngsters who come into the 1st team, no comparison really.

The biggest problem for Liverpool now considering the lack of money available to buy top quality players is if you get rid of all the avarage players in our squad how much would we get in total and how many good players can we buy with the proceeds. Lucas= £3-4 mill, Babel =£7 mill Vronin=£0, Dossenna = £3 mill, Ngog = £3-4 mill, Sotirios = £1 mill. My esitimated total is £18 - £20 mill approx. This would be 6 players out of the first team gone. How many players can we buy who are top quality for £20 mill????

Also if we are honest on the evaluation of our avarage players how many top sides would buy any of our the players mentioned????

The Americans need to go and proper investors brought in, Rafa needs to stop buying avarage players or go if he is unable to and we need to find another couple of Gerrard & Carragher's as they are moving on in age

Rafa's net spend per season is under £20 million compare that to Ferguson's. Rafa like every manager has his successes and failures in the transfer market but to say that Lucas, Mascherano and Ngog are crap is ridiculous, the other names yes, but Voronin was brought in on a free transfer. Two man team, we have more matchwinners than just Torres and Gerrard, has Beniyoun and Kuyt not won quite a few matches for us. You admire Wenger what has he won for Arsenal this last 3-4 years, yeah thats right nothing.

If you really are a Liverpool fan (which I doubt) you are most likely one of these people who don't actually watch the games, but just listen to tv pundits and journalists with agendas most of whom have little knowledge of how Liverpool players are performing this season.

As for Riise, no thanks he is a brainless footballer, getting rid of him was good business.
