HAYE READY TO TAME THE MONSTER

DAVID HAYE reckons he is fighting a monster in the shape of Nikolai Valuev as he continues to talk up the WBA heavyweight title fight on November 7.

The Londoner, who saw his plans to take on the Klitschkos go up in flames, is facing the giant Russian in an intriguing battle of styles.

The 7ft 2ins Beast from the East provides a genuine David versus Goliath encounter with Nuremberg awaiting the eagerly-anticipated showdown.

"In between training sessions, I'll often watch DVDs of King Kong, Godzilla or Frankenstein, just to keep my mind on the task in hand and remind myself of the magnitude of the challenge," explained the brash Brit.

"The more you watch regular human beings getting terrorised by over-sized monsters, the more you can accept this fight with Valuev as normality.

"It's no longer quite so scary."

Haye needs to show he is the real deal at heavyweight level after a long spell out of the ring and his reputation will go on the line in Germany.

"This is the craziest fight of my life, in terms of preparation and the fight itself," he added.

"Valuev looks like the bogeyman. Kids try to remove his mask when he goes trick-or-treating on Halloween."

i think you getting too cocky and arrogant and you speak as if you some kind of legend in this division. The first mistake you can make is being too disrespectful and getting too personel, it shows you are claerly aggitated with him and keep talking about his looks and how big he is etc etc - you lack total class in this respect. I hope he will stop giving you nightmares, but hope even more he's going knock your head right off. You will then learn about respect..
