DISGRACED Justin Harrison has pleaded for rugby to forgive him following his drugs shame.

The Aussie lock was banned for eight months after admitting taking cocaine at Bath's end- of-season party in London.

And in an interview in this morning's Sydney Sunday Telegraph Harrison, 35, admits: "I want to re-establish my reputation after a horrible mistake.

"I admitted I was in the wrong and only had myself to blame. I had to repair whatever damage I'd done to my family, people close to me and rugby, which has given me a fantastic career.

"It'd be wrong of me to sever all ties and I hope rugby doesn't want to sever ties with me.

"I've been sentenced and punished. People have gone through a lot of pain and I'll carry that for a long while."
