Please Kevin , take no notice of the minority who are having a go at you, the vast majority of fans love you and would have you back without a seconds thought.
Ashley and his minions will not stop until they have ground this club into the mud, I just do not know how he is allowed to get away with the things he is doing.
Fit and proper person - I think not !!
Even if we have to do a Leeds, I will take that if it cleanses my club of this cancerous bunch.
Then come back to us Kevin !!
You have given me the most exciting, proudest moments as a Newcastle United fan.

Let's quickly examine KK's alledged walking away from Clubs.

NUFC first time :- Hall interfered in first team affairs and KK didnt like the way it was going so he got out (no compo claim as he left)

Man City:- KK Signed a 3 year deal at Man City , after two years theyw anted him to sign an extension to that and he didnt want to so they mutually agreed he should go rather than undermine the dressing room

Fulham :- Left for the England job, who wouldn't!

England:- As much as I like KK he isn't up to international Management and he realised this so he got out at a time when they still had a chance to get someone in to help them qualify rather than staying til he was sacked and received a payout as in Taylor, Sven and Mclaren!!

Lets get away from the Myth that KK walks away!

Kev you have done so much for this club that I love.
You shouldn't listen to poorly informed easy to manipulate fools.
It it hard for people who have principles to stick by them.
It's easy to buckle under pressure and I refere to becoming an Ashley puppet at your job. You would never again to be taken seriously.
You got a small amount in compensation but if that was in your contract then that was agreed no one can argue that point.
I would have you back with open arms again, but make sure those who employ you are honest and trustworthy and fit to run a football club.

I love Kevin Keegan for his enthusiasm and uplifting effect he had on the club,he will always get a warm welcome from me,perhaps one day you can return as a chairmen or club ambassador, thanks for some great memories

Keegan galavanised this club three times. Once in the 80s, when we would never have gotten out of the old second division, if it wasn't for his dynamism. Again, in the 90s, when he resurrected us from bankruptcy, at the time of displaying the most entertaining football arguably in the history of the premiership. Finally, the third time was 2007-2008, when the 7 match unbeaten run prevented us from being relegated. A man of principles, always has been, always will be and for that, the geordies will always forsee you as the messiah! Would welcome you back once again with open arms

Overrated and overpaid, only came for the money,whinging on if he didn't get his own way, why not let other people have input into transfers that way we may not have ended up with Collocini.

Twice Kevin Keegan has been at NUFC and twice he has walked away from the club with no explanation to the fans who adored him. I worked for a major international company for 40 years and during my time had to conform to policies I didn't agree with.Being a married man who had to support a family I had to just get on with it.KK should have stood his ground at least until the end of the season when further negotiations could have taken place.No one,either KK or Ashley should have won the case as both were at fault.

As a supporter who has hardly missed a home league since 1946(I was there when Len Shackleton scored 6 against Newport County) I decided at the end of last season that I could take no more of the disgraceful way in which the fans have been let down.

I'm sorry KK but although I admire you greatly I think you are partly to blame for the curret mess.

KK will always be in the hearts of true nufc fans he is a geordie through and through and would be welcomed back with open arms, he is a great man and ashley was jealous of his popularity. I have three bichon frise who have coats with keegan on one side and nufc on the other and have no intentions of changing them as i live in hope that our messiah will return again one day, we will always love you kev from one of your greatest supporters

Nobody comes out of this with any credit. I'm less bothered about the lawsuit than the original abandoning of the club and the fans. Most of us have had things in our jobs that are not as we would like them or not as described - but if we all walked off like he did then none of us would ever stay in any job for long. He should have stuck it out - at least for one season.
Does he have any idea of the humiliation we fans suffered - the mocking from other fans when he left, the awful season and then the sheer disaster of relegation? If he did, he would understand how some of us feel. And for people like previous posters who think it's all down to anti - Keegan propaganda or "taking sides", I can assure you that this is a considered opinion, that I have no time for Mike Ashley, I think he and his mis-appointments bear the bulk of the blame and i wish he would just sell up and go away. I also am a great admirer of KK as a Toon player and manger (first time). But that does not mean that "love is blind" forever - and he has badly let me down over the past year.

Kev, if you read this please, please, please, don't think that the fans of Newcastle united have anything against you - we (the real fans) love you and would have you back any time! If you're looking on message boards then make sure it's the right ones, there really is a big difference between the forums (mainly because one of them is full of kids who don't remember what you did the first time round).

The real fans (the majority) know the truth, as Stardust said there's only a few gullible idiots who fell for the lies and spin that came from Ashley and his cronies.

I love the club and he went to war with them, I know where my loyalties lie. If a neighbour tried to sue one of your family members, regardless of blame who would you side with? Would you speak to them or have anything to do with them afterwards? I doubt it.

KK has no place in the modern game anyway, he's tacticaly naive and his habit of walking from clubs hardly brings an air of stability.

Its just a short note to say you were one of the best managers we have had and I have supported Newcastle united for 50 years, the way Ashley and his bunch of morons behaved towards you was unbelievable. Kevin I hope you read this. You are a decent, honest and honourable man. You have done nothing wrong and have been the victim in all this perpetrated by Ashley and his cronies. Your position became untenable with the things that were done. You had no other option left to you but to leave as you have principals and decency. This is what your detractors do not have and do not understand. You are the best manager Newcastle has had and given me the most pleasure to watch Newcastle play under your management. I hope you manage Newcastle again.

After leaving Newcastle the first time Keegan has not had the best track record (as in leaving clubs)..Keegan is one thing!! honest, something Ashley seems to Lack in great degree...

I think the point is for the anti Keegan Hype is the fact he was asking for 25 mil which seemed excessive..

I for one would love to see Keegan back, but the glory days for far gone.. people need to keep that in mind..

the biggest thing this club needs is to get rid of Ashley and fast..
