HARRY REDKNAPP QUIZZED AGAIN

Probe into tax issues at Portsmouth continues

INVESTIGATION - Harry Redknapp

HARRY REDKNAPP was quizzed AGAIN this week by Revenue and Customs over his offshore accounts.

The Tottenham boss was drilled for three hours at a City of London police station on Monday.

It is hoped this latest questioning, revealed in last week's News of the World, will help complete the two-year probe started after allegations of bungs in football.

Redknapp is being investigated over tax issues along with Portsmouth chief exec Peter Storrie and their ex-chairman Milan Mandaric.

All three have been re-interviewed within the last 10 days.

Redknapp was arrested in November 2007 as part of a corruption inquiry.

The probe focused on transfers deals at Redknapp's old club Portsmouth and at Birmingham.

But earlier this year the Crown Prosecution Service handed the files to HMRC, indicating the alleged offences related to tax rather than fraud.
