Huntelaar has failed to make any impact at the San Siro since his £12million move from Real Madrid - while Russian star Pavlyuchenko is now fourth-choice striker at White Hart Lane.
A swap deal could be on the cards though Huntelaar would expect to be given an extended chance in the Spurs team.
The Dutchman has failed to score in seven games for Milan this season but was previously one of Europe's most prolific strikers.
Milan are desperate to find some fire power after an abysmal start under new coach Leonardo.
And the Italian club have also been linked with former Inter striker Adriano who returned to Brazil to play for Flamengo at the end of last season.

Huntelaar is a proven flop. It is also a myth that he didn't get fair shake at Madrid and now at Milan. He started 80% of the Madrid's Matches, and also started 4 of 6 when he was available for Milan. He failed to score iin his last 10 mathces fro Madrid (8 of which he started). He has not scored a single gaol this year, and in 290 minutes for Milan had 7 shots and one on goal. Pipo Inzagi the pensionar has played 370 minutes taken 17 shots 11 on target and scored 2 goals.
Huntelaar is too slow and can't find free spaces in higher level leagues. Madrid and Huntlaar's agnet pretended that he is "out of favor" to cover up his poor form. Milan were suckered into Huntelaar and now they are looking for another sucker.
They want to make a deal quickly because they realize
they can't keep up the charade that Huntelaar is actually good player but in wrong team and farcical label of fox in the box type. He is 26 for crying out loud. Send him back to Dutch league, about the right level for him.

Also, its not a case of Harry 'not liking' Pavlyuchenko either. Roman has been given lots of chances by Harry in the League but failed to properly take them. Last season's game against Manchester City at the Lane being the ideal example. Harry has said repeatedly that he thinks Roman is gifted & but he needs to apply himself correctly. How can he drop Robbie, Defoe or even Crouch at the moment? All f them have scored hat-tricks, Robbie scoring 4 the other week! I really like Pav & he definitely brings something different & seems to work very well alongside Defoe but he still doesn't yet deserve to start over the others. Crouch scored a hat-trick & still didn't get to start the next game, so it clearly isn't something solely between Harry & Roman. Also, everyone seems to forget that Roman has had an ankle injury for the last 3 Spurs games, so couldn't play even if he wanted to.

Dude77, where do you get off calling Spurs "such a weak team"? You do understand that Tottenham are currently sitting 3rd in the Premiership don't you? And that's with virtually the whole defence injured & their star player out with a broken leg! Who knows where they'll be if they're back to full strength! Also, Huntelaar maybe oh so great in front of goal & deserve to play for a 'strong' team like Man United in your eyes, but do you know that Man Utd & Spurs have scored just as many goals as each other in the Premiership & Spurs are just 3 points behind? Spurs would be perfect for Huntelaar. They way Spurs play both currently & historically is well suited to Huntelaar & much of the pressure on him to perform would no doubt be lifted. His confidence is obviously shot to pieces but Spurs & Harry Redknapp are ideal for getting him back to his best & the fact that you cannot see that jut shows you ignorant

What? what kind of a dumb idea is this. Hunterlaar is far superior to any striker in spurs or Milan. Leonardo has to get fired. He is not playing Klass right and its not his fault he gets stupid passes from Seedorf and Pirlo, what Milan need is better and creative midfield. what is wrong with Milan, dont do that, thats a mistake. And Huntelaar will not go to such a weak team, he would probably be taken by Man U if Milan let him go. then Milan would have wished to keep him, come on just get some creative mid players.

Agree with you sara. I think he's a great player and needs more games. Trouble is if the manager doesn't "like" you then its a shame.
As for speaking English he does. People who have met him say he's very good and an incredibly nice bloke. I'm sorry I disagree with this "he doesn't speak English" stuff. And with so many nationalities in a team I think their footwork does the talking.
To be honest I'd rather lose Keane and play Pav and JD with Crouch on the bench. Trouble is, we've seen with the central defender problems that you need 3 at least in certain positions.

Pav doesn't speak English, I think that's why Harry doesn't play him. If Pav could communicate with his strike partners he'd probably be given better treatment.

hahaha... here's an idea, go to liverpool, so he can add one more club he played for on his resume.

I don't know whats wrong with redknapp, Pavlyuchenko is 100x better than Keane and Crouch, which are useless
By sara.. Posted October 11 2009 at 2:59 PM.
Pav is class (but comes across lazy) he's obviously not fancied by Harry. Huntelaar needs to settle and a move to Spurs would give him regular football. With Keane also on his way out it would leave a Defoe & Huntelaar forward line. Not fogetting Crouch as an option who i think is an under rated footballer.

its about time redknapp treated pava with the respec he deserves, instead he keeps picking keane and crouch over him who are both useless, i hope he goes to milan

Huntelaar doesn't want to keep moving, its the teams that want to move him. He only left Madrid because they wanted him out and same with Milano. He should come to Spurs cause he is quality. Definitely should push out Peter Crouch.

How Many Teams Does Huntelaar Wanna Play For .......... Can't He Just Settle In Somewhere Nice?
