Charlie's clip of his hilarious attempt to ski over a picnic table won him a meeting with Olympic hopeful Dom Harington.
It also bagged him a pair of tickets to the LG London Freeze, a four-day festival attracting huge names in skiing and snowboarding.
Here's what Dom had to say:
How did you get into boarding?
My brother took me snowboarding to Scotland when I was 12. I didn't really like the lesson, but then I realised you can fall down, roll over and get back up again really easily.
What are you doing this season?
I'm competing in the LG World Cup, to try to get enough points to qualify for the Olympics. The next competition's in Switzerland, and then I'm off to Japan and all over the place. It's going to be a busy year.
What's the best thing about being on the tour?
Travelling to different countries, meeting new people. It's good because you get to snowboard all the time. It's hard work, but good fun.
Where's the best place to ride?
Everywhere is good for different reasons, but it depends on the snow. One of the best places is Breckenridge - it's got good jumps and a really good half-pipe. But if you've a good crew of people to ride with, anywhere can be good.
And the most random?
I went to a competition in the Ukraine. There was big scaffolding, a big jump - it looked good, but the snow machine didn't work. There wasn't a single drop of snow and the whole thing had to be cancelled.
What's your advice for beginners?
Just stick with it. Once you get past the learning curve, it's the best feeling in the world to ride through powder. Stick with it and enjoy it.
What about those who want to ride rails?
Try to look at the end of the rail. Once you jump on, it should be easier. Make sure your snowboard edges are rounded off - it's easier if they're blunt. And commit to the trick.
What's your long-term plan?
I just want to keep snowboarding. It's my passion and I'll keep it up as long as my body lets me. Injuries are a big part of snowboarding. I've broken arms, wrists, ankles and had a few concussions. But it's probably worth it for the good times.
Here is the priceless 'freestyle' moment which won Charlie his prize. His main thing is snowboarding - and he intends to stick to it from now on.
Congratulations also to our runner-up Sean Vintin, who won a pair of tickets for this footage.
