As much as I love JM's character and alot of the things about him.. he had completely contradicted himself here at the end of the article, on Chelsea:
It is not my club so it is not my problem. I don't care.

why would he say that about city, and he's not bothered about chelsea? there is no point other than..
.oh I just realised.. we knocked his ass out of the Champions League this year. keep hanging on to that job Jose, you might love that club but Massimo Moratti just wants a CL cup so you better focus on your own club.

Truly he is the special one, i mean he would have been called a prophet but not as it is! He is a man of many words which other fun's think they are stinky but motivate and i believe that if Hughes studied very well the names he has bought and introduced in them the spirit for the love of the club they will in future and it will work out if Tevez is made his number one choice becoz he has team spirit as seen in both wstham and manchester united[we shall always miss him].
He can sacrifise himself for the club tough fergie took time to discover that as he only expected goals from him forgetting his work rate.

Jose has turned into the biggest joke ever since he left Chelsea. He's so desperate to return to the prem, he'd be better off begging City on his hands and knees. I didn't think Italian life could be that bad.
Adebayor and Tevez...haha...I still have a feeling the two of them will have their spots picked out nicely on the bench. Make no mistake Santa Cruz is Mark Hughes #1 man and for Tevez to displace Robinho would be the biggest mistake they could make.

Jose has already said he wants a return to the premier league.
and whos to say city cant qualify for the champions league like Ranieri did at Chelsea?
as long as City get some defenders of course!
then Hughes will get sacked so Jose can takeover and rub it in to Abramovich for whatever cost him leaving, which is still not revealed what actually happened.
So he'll gain support of the City board, players and fans now. then once he's there players will join cos they trust in his ability.

As a Chelsea fan i would not be surprised to see Jose at Man city in the next year or 2.

they might have been, but i wasnt one of them. liverpool dont have the squad for a season long assault. i stated that the begining of the season. ill state it again. meaning what benitez did even more remarkable. even with those resources two more wins would of clinched it. not forgetting we scored more than any other team, with only one world class striker.

City have an alright strikeforce, nothing more. Adebarndoor had one good season at Arsenal but misses five sitters for every goal he scores. Robinho is nowhere to be seen on away days. Roque was a good player at an average club..which he still is. Tevez was a United benchwarmer who can get a few goals when he is surrounded by world class players, which he no longer is. Bellamy, who? Nope, not as impressed as Jose.

What would Mourinho's response have been towards City had he still been Chelsea manager?

He would've torn City apart!!! Getting at their spending, their manager and their players. He would've made a mockery of them. But because he wants to stir up a bit of controversy and wind up his former rivals/employers he's making these wild claims.

One thing I know is that, if City don't win the league, and you go back and tell Jose he was wrong he will just laugh. He's playing everybody for fools, as usual.
