WENGER WANTS WONDERKID WELLINGTON

Anyone who thinks Wenger should be sacked should start supporting a team with a bit more money so they can watch the big name signings they're asking for.
Arsene Wenger IS Arsenal and with the debt we're in we'd be lucky to finish in the top 8 without him.
The problem is you all watch football, some play it, but you all know nothing about running a football team, just armchair football fans who think they know better than the great man himself. Pathetic excuse for Arsenal fans.

Dear Arsenal friends. I am sure that most of you will join me in this. I am tired of supporters saying that we should buy him or that one simply because they read some names on a newspaper. Melo huntellar and so on. Sick and tired of some of you saying this one has to go and that one oo. Are you following every training session? Are you watching how those players so often criticised every single day? or at least as often as AW? None of us do. So please let the boss do his job and be behind the team no matter how things are turning out. What is the point in booing our own players during a football game? except bringing down the spirits of the whole team. Let's be together once again and maybe success will come!
Come on Arsenal. Be the force with us!!!

the guy who thinks wenger should go is NOT crazy. I expect Arsen Wenger to know better, that he has not won any thing for the club in four years, which has indeed over shadowed all his past glries with the club. Four YEARS without even an aluminum spoon is a bitter peel to swallow. WE cant take it any longer. If he cannot buy Huntelaar this season, then he has no business coatching the club. He has made enough money for the 'owners' of the club. He should think of winning something for we the real owners of the club, and i mean we the fans.

Invest in the future - and we have a future, unlike the clubs who are founded on money that could disappear when investors see that football clubs are not gold mines.

its unfortunate that many people are on Wenger and forget his bosses who do not give him money. Wenger had less than a quarter of what Manu had in the market. Now what do u want him use in buying. He is a great coarch admired by all clubs in the world. Remember moving to Emirates and we remain among the top 4. See leads United!

wenger should be sacked. the fans are fed up with excuses. we want trophies as much as players wants medals. this should be his last season as manager if he does not win a trophy excluding carling up. arsenal will not win anything as long as wenger does not invest in big-time players or change his pattern of play. he buys skillful but timid ants to play against the sturdy and efficacious players of Man U, Chelsea, etc. we are tired of watching beautiful soccer that does not win trophies. what counts most is how many goals you have more than your opponents. how you score those goals is secondary.
if thierry henry had not left for barcelona, he would not have achieve his life long dream of a champions league medal.
Warning to plyers: if you want popularity, come to arsenal; if you want medals, go to Barca, Man U, Chelsea etc

I think Arsene Wenger should sign new players particularly scorers as backups. That is what Arsenal lacks year in year out. Our bench is usually not strong enough to cope with the realities on ground. Key players get injured and Club runs into problems. This is where ManU, Chelsea and even Liverpool are better. They have better and stronger bench. Please get more strikers and not ball dressers. Good luck.

this would be a quality signing :) i went to brazil a couple of weeks ago and played in a tournement against the brazil under 17's and played against wellington, i had to mark him and he was amazing, his pace, skills, he has brazilian magic :) he is a class player and would re-ignite arsenal completely .

Wenger believes in the future of the club. Short term solutions should not be sacrficed for a future, all top 4 sides are in hude debts and the only one to try to address it of course is The Arsenal, yes we need reinforcements in midfield but come on Wenger knows so trust him

Well, I really wish Toure will remain in Arsenal. Players like mistake prone Gallas and Silvetre should leave the club as they are the main cause to Gunner weak defence. Why Wenger still keep them? Maybe Wenger is faithful to his players but some of them not faithful.

I believe in Arsene's decisions regarding the signings.The club moved to the new stadium which means that Arsenal has a huge debt so in the short run we wont have as much money as these other clubs have but amazingly we still remain competitive.A team that challenges for all the competition with a youthful team is not joke.We equally have very good players who are world class.Talk of Arshavin, Fabregas, RVP, Walcot, Edwardo and TR.We just need to buy one goal scorer to rely on in terms of goals coz Bertner is not that sharp on target.We have enough play makers.We will definately shine this season against all odds.GUNNERS FOR LIFE

no question on the abilities of youngsters brought in the team...but theres a big big question about their commitment in future cause as they grow into worldclass players they are lured by money by rivals n other bigger clubs(specially madrid n barca).

I believe Wenger knows what is best for the team and I think most players in the market are well over rated which makes mockery of real value of above the average players who are taunted as world class players.Wenger should just add to the back four a strong defensive midfielder and a striker then we are there for the new season.Let us do a talking again on the field of play and not mind game when the season is yet to start.

Wenger is an amazing manager we might have not won titles but we have nearly always got into the quarters if not the semi's we lack that little quality which i believe Arshavin will give us so with a decent cover for Adebayor and maybe a couple of others we will be pushing even harder plus man united look alot weaker this season no ronaldo and tevez who grab goals when they are need.

To everyone...stop criticising Wenger!
What has he achieved for the past 5 years? some of you will say nothing! hmm then look closely. Under his management we moved to a brand new stadium at some cost, he worked with a shoe string budget nd yes we haven't won anything but our financial situation means that in the medium term we will be in an amazing situation. Yes critcswill say we got no trophies. How many clubs win the prem facup and cl cups a year? only 1. Competion is rife and still we manage at least the minimum cl qualification. Some clubs have spent 100s of millions and still haven't managed this. Spurs over 200m villa & Everton got close but yet far away and now city. The truth is some clubs are deep in the red behind their ephemere success (Chelsea, MU and even Real Madrid). Remember few years back Madrid had to sell their training facility to finance their escalating debts. Some completely disapeared from the radar (leicester city, Leeds Newcastle) whilst some others will struggle very soon (liverpool, Totn'ham...)
So guys what do you want? instant success like Chelsea (despite 300m invested since Abra era they haven't won the prem for 3 years, city will never get close anyway) or a strong and wise long term plan where success will come at some point.

Arsene knows that last season he made mistakes. He knows he should have bought players in the transfer window but the players that were injured are back now. So his selection has grown. But yes he does need a defensive mid and center defender. Kolo is being sold so we need to get someone with experience but not too old. Wellington is an amazing player and Wenger will turn him into a world beater. But i still think we are a little behind up front. Bentner is not doing it in front of goal and should be sold. The rest i have faith in but we do need a proven goal scorer. So no more talk of Wenger getting sacked he is whats best for arsenal at the end of the day.

Pls enough of trophy less seasons, not only thinking of 1st 4, but at least the title. you can see how we crashed out of fa cup and UEFA just by our fellow english clubs. experience counts for how long can we wait for these wonderkids to grow is it wen we are on relegation. pls do something. i belive most of you don't have good knowledge of youth football. especially arsenal's system?

We have a high achieving under 16's, and under 18's, and our reserve team is average seeing as we loan out our best prospects.
our strikers are as follows;
eduardo, van persie, vela, *arshavin*, *walcott*, simpson, bendtner.
then- freeman(18's), afobe(18's), aneke(16-18's), deacon. and not many more. i hate too say this. but in the youth system, we lack an amazing talent. this kid is amazing. you failed to mention he hit in 4 goals in 45 minutes against a good norwich team. he is an amazing talent. and i don't just say this about anyone.

Look within all reasonable light guys.
As a life time Arsenal fan myself i have sometimes doubted wenger but being the manager of a club like Arsenal is not easy especially with the board only forking out 18m for a transfer budget which eight of has to be put towards a Defensive Midfeilder. Wenger has only ever stuck by the fans a major example is Adebayor he sold him for the fans. The fans didn't want him he got the boot and now the extreme rpoblem with that is wenger only gets 70% of the transfer revenue and the deal was for 22m not the speculated 25 which has been branded about. So that now leaves wenger with enough to get a player like klaas jan huntelaar. My personal preferance would be Andre-Peirre Gignac. But that's just me , as qouted from the statment above it takes an acorn to build an oak tree. Lets all be honest nobody can quite do that like wenger does. A small list for all the doubters~: Theirry henry (A french nobody -PFA player of the year twice) Cesc Fabregas (come on now who heard of him before hand- world class midfeilder, and the list goes on ian wright,ect.. So i think Wenger might know a bit more than us about this one . and also with the current board we had if we had anyone but wenger it would be goodbye top 6. If wenger wants to sugn wellington instead of thinking another bloody youngster think where did he get him from abosoultly amazing stuff yett again. but we do need a Defensive Midfeilder.

As an Arsenal fan, I have nothing but praise for Wenger. Football is no longer about some guys having a Sunday kick about in a park in a pub league...it's a business, fast becoming a kill or be killed one at that! Wenger has shown he is has a masterful business mind. He is one of, if not the, best managers Arsenal hve had!
As an Arsenal skeptic, I believe that sometimes Wenger is more the Arsenal business man than the Arsenal manager. He is prone to his mangerial errors and can be stubborn in his decisions. I don't like his approach to 30+ year olds (1 year contracts) as I think it's disrespectful especially if that player still provides plenty and still has plenty to offer (though granted he is usually right) however Viera and Pires come to mind! I believe in a mix of experiance (older players) and skill (younger players) is vital and it cannot be one-sided! Wenger has finally admitted this now however!
But all this talk that he should leave is non-sense...he should stay till he's too old to continue working!

Arguably, the Greatest football player of all time was a pro at 15 years old, played for his national team aged 16years old and played in his 1st world cup aged 17 years old, winning 3 world cup medals in total.
