do not forget that Mido put the spurs in the fifth place for the first time and he got Ajax to win the such cup and championship, and he also won the belgium championship and he has nothing to do with Boro relegation it was Southgate who did not let his goal scorer not to play even loan his best player to wigan, try to be fair and see the whole picture

I had to endure watching MIDO wearing bigger and bigger shirts every week. He came and played well for about a game and a half then he went back to his normal self. The weight went on and the desire left.

The man is a disgrace and hopefully will not find a shirt big enough to wear. Keep fining him and the image right thing is rubbish, what image how to gain weight and make clubs look like mugs.

I say go back to some unknown club in Egypt, we don't want you or need you.

UP THE BORO THE BORO'S GOING UP.

If Boro owe him money him than he has every right to refuse to play, frankly the way Boro treat him last season they deserve everything they get.

Jim - spot on. This guy's whole career has been an insult to his team-mates, the clubs who've paid his wages, and the fans who've invested hard-earned money, passion and commitment

The sad thing is that he doesn't lack ability. It's just that he's a spoilt little rich boy without character, integrity or a sense of responsibility. God knows why Boro bought him, given his track record at Spurs and his other clubs before that

Clearly an Icon in his own mind, Boro should do football a favour and take every measure possible to ensure that he gets as little as they can legally be forced to donate

Boro should be claiming damages from Mido for impersonating a Professional Footballer and damaging the clubs image. Overweight, overated and overpaid, he is a disgraceful role model to any instituition or individual. His image has damaged the club, the team and the town not enhanced it and just about every other team he has been associated with including his own national side where he has had his fair share of disputes. Boro retain his registration and he is in breach of contract, lets see UEFA, FIFA and the PFA throw the book at him, a £6M fine (to pay Boro back the money the entrusted to his "image" by signing him) and a 3 year world ban would do for starters. His reputation goes before him and these claims just make him look more ridiculous, he should be asamed of himself, for once in his life he should stand up and make a positive contribution to his sport and start giving instead of taking. Coming back to Boro and setting an example by getting them back up would be a start, the fans there gave him 100% support and backing and all he done in return was moan and eat Pizzas and Pies!

Get him out the guy is a disgrace to the game I would advise any club to be carefull buying him his attitude unsettle the boro side last year pay him that's a joke he should be fined every week until he turns up or his contract ends

Mido is an absolute disgrace - he should be ashamed of himself.

More clubs than years in the game. Comes to Boro, get's injured, get's embarrasingly fat and kicks up a fuss when not in a team.

Boro fans have seen some mercenaries in our time - Emerson, Ravanelli, Boksic, Ziege.... Mido is the worst by far.

We will struggle to offload this toxic waste of space.

Excellent news that he won't be coming back.

Can we fine him 2 weeks wages for every week he doesn't turn up?

That way he might finally offer some value for money.
