Tickle, 26, has scored in every one of Hull's games this season, chalking up 61 goals. The former Wigan and Halifax star will play for Wolves for next season and the move represents a massive coup for Warrington boss Tony Smith.
He also has an eye on Brisbane's Australia full- back Darren Lockyer as owner Simon Moran looks to invest and propel the club to the higher reaches of Super League.
Smith, who cut his managerial teeth in Super League with today's opponents Huddersfield, must do without injured trio Adrian Morley, Chris Hicks and Simon Grix but hopes to have Lee Briers back after a month out with hamstring trouble.
Huddersfield have also made some big-money signings for next season.
They have agreed a deal with St Helens for Great Britain second row Lee Gilmour and Whitehaven's 19-year-old sensation Gregg McNally is on his way as well.
They have also warded off substantial interest in stand-off Kevin Brown by offering him an improved three-year deal.
Aussie coach Nathan Brown said: "This is my first season over here and to be honest I didn't know what to expect. We didn't have any great goals, we just wanted to try and get some consistency and improve.
"We're near the top now and that would suggest we are achieving those two things. I will take third spot in Super League right now - and I am sure a lot of other clubs would as well."
