It's pants for Newcastle chief Derek Llambias

DEREK LLAMBIAS, Newcastle's maligned managing director, must rue the day he set foot in the North East.

He had a pair of boxer shorts thrown at him, but for once the relegated team he and owner Mike Ashley created were not quite pants.

There were even smiles among 4000 travelling Geordies.

They were treated to seven goals, which matched their tally for the final 11 games of last season.

Shola Ameobi (2), Damien Duff, Kevin Nolan, Jonas Gutierrez, Steven Taylor and Andy Carroll were on target.

Dean Windass scored both for his latest club.

1. Newcastle in area is a small city, no one bangs on about being a big club, except people like you.
2. I thought its about supporting your team regardless.
3 Keegan isnt a Messiah but was a good manager at each club he managed, inept and dosnt know tactics?, you must know better then?, quality.
4 Are you judging a man on 8 games?
5. Didnt Ashley sack Allardyce?
6. When you say "you got rid of Robson", wasnt that Sheppard?
7. Pointless article, try the facts for a change.

West Brom will show newcastle how far they have to go to get back up. The championship is no easy place to be, Albion have been like yo yos and know what to expect the newcs will have a shock.

You deserve to be were you are - when will newcastle fans take there blinkers off.
1) How many teams are there in Newcastle? Exactly. Each other city shares a team. And you call yourselves a big team.
2) When did you last win anything?
3) Kevin Keegan is not the messiah he is a tactically inept manager that belongs nowhere near a PL team with his tactics.
4) If you think Alan Shearer is the answer, again you are moronic.
5) Getting rid of Sam Allardyce! Bet Blackburn fans are laughing there nuts off.
6) To sum Newcastle up - You got rid of Bobby Robson whose the only one who got you up there recently, says it all

Story of Ashleys Reign:

1: Loved by all as he rescues the club from effective administration after Shepherd's financial shambles.

2: Almost gets it right until he parts with Keegan and puts faith in Wise - beginning of the end.

3: Realises he cannot continue with his "new toy" and is determined to drive the club into the ground as he cannot recoup his losses - administration or sale? You decide!

I think Derek Llambias should be ashamed of himself - if he had more than a pea fro a brain and an understanding of football and more importantly Newcastle United.

Still, he will have his huge unjustifed salary. What a waste of space.

The sooner Laurel and Hardy go the better.
