new signing Daniel Sturridge in action
FIRST IMPRESSIONS - Jhon Kennedy Hurtado and new signing Daniel Sturridge in action

Daniel Sturridge is Blues goal hero

DANIEL STURRIDGE scored one and made one as Chelsea strolled to victory in the opening match of their pre-season tour of the USA.

Carlo Ancelotti's 19-year-old new-boy latched on to Florent Malouda's 12th minute pass and coolly steered a low right shot past veteran keeper Kasey Keller.

Ten minutes before the break his clever pass released Nicolas Anelka wide on the right.

From there the French international cut the ball back to the edge of the six yard box where Frank Lampard was lurking to clip home Chelsea's second.

Captain always blue John Terry don;t fall into a trap by joining Man City they cannot offer any European football or any silverware at all and with the oil money you don;t find paradise in one hit and city owners cannot match any stars Chelsea offered with the style of football and Hughes will be fired if no success want shown this coning season- please stop talking about Terry

It depends on jt to decide where to play come next season. If leaving chelsea is the best option for him, then so be it.

By Chukwudi.. Posted July 19 2009 at 10:43 PM.

If Man City paid 40m I think Chelsea should sell him
because no defender worth 25m so 40m is goo business
And he is the reason that Chelsea did not win the CL against MU in Moscow so good bye Terry.

JT if u leave chelsea,u will not be playing CL cause man city don't qualify for CL maybe this season,as a captain of the national team england you need to be playing atleast among the best four in england.

Chelsea should put a price tag of 60 millions pounds. If City agree, then get rit of him.Use some of the money to buy David Silva.
