STEVE BRUCE will make a bid for Spurs defender Michael Dawson.
The Sunderland boss wants Dawson, 25, after being snubbed by Manchester City's Richard Dunne.
And Tottenham will do business if the Black Cats make an offer of around £6million.
Bruce also wants striker Darren Bent from the North Londoners, and would offer Kenwyne Jones in return.

NZSpur why would you swap Dawson & Bent for Jones and Dunne. As long as Dawson is playing next to someone experienced, he is good cover. Dunne is slow and older and will expect higher wages than Dawson, without being any better. Think Dawson looked ok after Harry came in. Not that keen on Jones either, yes he is strong and puts himself about, but never look like getting many goals. Bent will always get goals, but the ball bounces of him, so still think w should sell him, but we need to bring in more quality than Jones can provide.
