ARMAND TRAORE is wanted on a season-long loan by Birmingham.

Blues boss Alex McLeish is after the Arsenal left-back as cover for David Murphy, who is recovering from a broken kneecap.

Frenchman Traore, 19, is third choice at Arsenal and manager Arsene Wenger is expected to give the deal the green light.

to that guy whohs said eduardo ended a career, why dont you think on the principle. if he hadnt gone in so clumbsily and high would we be having this little debate online. a player dicides how he takes another, especialy when the victim is 40 yards from goal.

Armande is an amazing player full of potential and he needs to be at home with Arsenal and not somewhere else and end a lost lamb in a field of wolves like Chelsea and Man U. We lost Diarra thru almost similar circumstances and we regret it to this day. Armande is almost like another Eboue only on the left and he has such amazing pace which is what arsenal needs and thoroughly cannot do without!!!

Jais, and breathe, was your comment a new Arsenal chant? Are you one of the new breed Arsenal supporters who has only seen them play at the Emirates? No doubt we'll be scrapping it out down at the the bottom, we know our place this season, there's no disillusionment there. Unlike you. It's no good playing good football if you don't stick the ball in the back of the net as often as you should with all of the players that apparently 'Every club want', but if your happy to watch lovely approach play with very little end results, apart from winning the odd goal of the month competition, that's good for you no doubt, at the end of the season you'll be trailing behind the top teams again, plus Man City..Then you'll be calling for Wenger to be sacked and of course leaving the games early...

He should go there and gain a bit of experience and then come back, That is the right thing to do

Ha ha! Mathew, Arsenal players are most loyal! How many times they rubbished the rumours OPENELY!! Every club want our players. But they just cant imagine not wearing our shirt. I am sure Wenger would rather loan our youth to a decent club. I really hope you get relaged! You are disgrace ...

I am not sure if it is Aresnal or Newcastel fans who the rest of the country are laughing at .

No Thanks, not Birmingham, I would be happy for him to be loaned to a decent club like Fulham for example. Let us not forget it is the snyde pig McLeish who vindicated his player for breaking our players leg... So no get stuffed!

He should come to Birmingham and gain valuable experience. He’ll win nothing with Arsenal this year, at least at Blues he’ll be playing for something. Arsenal are well down on the top clubs, you wouldn’t think so listening to Arsenal supporters though. West Brom played some decent football last year and were relegated, Arsenal played some decent football last year spent a few quid and again won nothing. Your own players talk openly about leaving the club, Arshavin to Barcelona etc. Supporters leaving the ground well before the end of the game because your team is getting beat, Your not the Arsenal of years gone by……

Arsene let him come for Premiership experience if nothing else. Sure he could prove immature James wrong

By Keith.. Posted July 12 2009 at 11:03 AM.

Not to birmingham please! Don't they have an academy themselves? Let armand not be taught thuggery

By gml.. Posted July 12 2009 at 10:28 AM.

Ok, if you want to talk facts, Eduardo actually finished another player's career himself with an awful challenge - so before you start getting all high-and-mighty look at the facts - or are the facts not fitting your argument?? Up The Spurs, at least their not bitter and twisted.

Just loan him mr.prof and let him continue to gain experience

James you really are immature, when are you going to get over what was an accidental injury.

By Stillharpingjames.. Posted July 12 2009 at 1:38 AM.

What could he possibly learn there apart from attacking the opossion ...

Spike again shows he has little intelligence - nothing more needs to be said...

Let him go wenger 4 the purpose of future

By Ajayi.. Posted July 12 2009 at 12:05 AM.

I am sure Arsenal would rather keep him, or loan him to a decent club, than see him ply his trade with a fossil who likes anti-football...
