And the latest Red to commit himself to the club is striker Nabil El Zhar, who has agreed an improved deal until 2012. The Moroccan international, 22, made 19 first-team appearances last season.
But it looks like left-back Andrea Dossena knows his number is up. His No 2 shirt was handed to £17million new signing Glen Johnson this week.
Italian Dossena, who signed for £7m just a year ago, is a target for Juventus.

Ramel did you even watch the CL final they won? It was the tactical addition of bringing Hamman on that contributed to winning the game. Once he came on Milan couldn't control the midfield (as they were doing even with Gerrard on in the first half). It was also Dudek, Smicer, Alonso and pretty much the whole team who won it in the second half. Utd won't win this year because they were a one man team with Ronaldo and no one wants to join them. Terry wants to leave Chelsea and no one wants to join them, Arsenal don't have any money and Man City may get into the CL 4th spot if they are lucky.

a team that play together for a long period of time will ultimately know each others game which is capable of beating a team that is full of super stars and their super egos ie R.Madrid. Rafa knows this & that's why he didn't want to change his teams too much. "keep them fit & happy" will see many more successes in the future. IN RAFA WE TRULY AGREE & TRUST. YNWA

I concor with rafa,we don't need much signing one or two is okey.we have a team that are capable of winning the league,all we need do is to see they players are fit and happy.johnson is a very good signing by rafa.with johnson on defence,masch. and alonso on midfield,torres up front i think were there~sammy neverwalkalone.

Liverpool won't win a premier league. That one champions league was won my Gerrard. Benitez can win nothing.
