HULL WANT FULHAM FLOP BOBBY ZAMORA

HULL CITY are keen on Fulham flop Bobby Zamora.

The striker, 28, hit just two league goals in a year since going to Craven Cottage in a £6.3million joint move from West Ham with John Pantsil.

But he is still admired as a creator despite his poor goal record.

Not sure what the phrase 'for a team like Hull' is meant to mean or imply. How do people know what type of team Hull City will be next season. Last term is history (though 6 points off the Codgers was sweet - wupps) while Bobby Zamora would be a good signing for most EPL sides as he was for both West Ham and Fulham despite not hitting the net as often as expected. Many Fulham supporters seem to have got carried away after last season's whiff at the top half of the table while forgetting that they were only minutes away from being a mediocre CCC club after the campaign before. That's why I say that what happened last season is history and applies very significantly to both Hull and Fulham. Yes we'll have BZ as well as Jimmy B!!

Zamora...row Z song is classic...along with the Bullard comment...Is PB (or should that be PT - Perma-Tan?) determined to buy rubbish this year?
Thought we needed proven Premier League players..?

if WHU had kept zamora they would have finished even higher up in the league poss 5th. Bobby gets moved on because of his goal average, he aint an outright center forward, but his contribution wins games, he is a legend at west ham. I would have him back all day long. go on Zola, snap him up for a bargain.

please take him off us ! he does hold the ball up well but my god he is deffinatly not a premiership striker! i think even hayles could of scored 2 goals for us this season

Would be a great signing for Hull City, just your sort of player. Have you got a Section K Row Z in your Stands ? Best place to get a good look at the ball.
He could sit in the Stand to keep Jimmy Bullard company.

When the ball hits your head,
and you sit in row Z,

thats Zamora...

PLEASE TAKE HIM TO HULL.

I feel this would be a great signing for us- I Campbell comes to City. I thnk these two (FC and BZ) would work very well together. Both hard working- BZ can hold the ball up a lot better- plus he has a good footballing brain...

To describe Bobby Zamora as a flop merely demonstrates a lack of understanding of the substantial part he played in Fulham's successful season. His work rate was tremendous in a side whether he was asked to give much greater emphasis on "defending from the front" than he'll have ever been asked to elsewhere, and he was unlucky not to have scored more (eg when Scoles saved a header bound for goal and was sent off as a result). Only Peter Crouch in Premiership teams below the "big four" plays the role Bobby fills at Fulham more effectively, and not all the 16 lesser Premiership sides can have him!

Bobby and Marlon Harewood would be a master stroke of a bargain double signing. Villa wants rid of Marlon. Those two together could be the dark horses of the premiership strikers.

I't unfair to say Zamora was a flop at Fulham. He was injured in the middle of his best fom despite being paired with that donkey Johnson who score 50% of sod all too.

With a regular start, he cold get 12 or 15 goals for a side like Hull, no problem.

Zamora played in every league game for Fulham (started 35)

Fulham rose 10 places and qualified for Europe.

He may not have scored many but cant be called a flop.

If Bobby had an opportunity to work with GZ I am sure he would turn into a really prolific scorer. He has all the skills just not the killer instinct that a centre forward needs.

we really missed him at west ham this season, he has a habit of scoring on big occasions but is more of a supplier the rest of the time. you could do a lot worse.

Bobby would be a good signing for Hull, he just needs a bit of confidence and he will create and score goals.
