SUNDERLAND manager Steve Bruce will slap in a £5million bid for Rangers ace Steven Davis.
The Black Cats want the Northern Ireland international, 24, to revitalise their midfield.
Bruce is also ready to break the clubs pay structure to land Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch.
Current top earner Kenwyne Jones is on £50,000-a-week, while Crouch, 28, takes home £75,000.
