FIFA president Blatter will introduce a rule to prevent big clubs selecting top kids from abroad until they are 18. This means deals like United's signing of Corinthians defender Dodo, 17, for £5.5million will be subjected to greater scrutiny.
Brazil's 1970 World Cup-winning captain Carlos Alberto accused United of "raping" his country's football earlier this month.
Blatter insisted: "The protection of young players means there will not be any international transfers before the age of 18. Players must be registered with their academies from the age of eight when they first play organised football.
"The Brazilian FA president asked me to stop the exodus. I promised we will."

Blatter is an idiot he is always biased towards English foot ball, he is a big FAN of Real Madrid last season was against united he say that united treat CR7 as a slave. We the ENGLISH family d'not regard him any more as the FIFA president, the next FIFA president will be 4rm the English EMPIRE and that is Sir, Alex Ferguson 4 sure.

Mr Blatter has always been biased towards English Football. One of his blatant spills came around last year. We can still remember his infamous defence (sic) of C Ronaldo (CR) when he (Mr Blatter) strongly hammered the notion that CR was being held a 'slave' at Man Utd when they (Man Utd) refused to sell him to Real Madrid. Apperently Mr Blatter has still to discover the reality and meaning of what slavery is. and maybe explain to everyone, in simple terms, what he means with a millioaire slave!!!!!!!!!!!

It is about time all clubs had a salary cap and prevent certain well known players and agents for asking over the top wages. To be honest football clubs will feel the pinch in the long term. I hope the like's of Real Madrid go bust.
Lower league clubs are being exploited. I want to see a reduction in the ammount of foreign players in all British clubs and see more home grown talent.
Give our young players the chance to play in top flight football. British football is the best.
Blatter and co have to sort out their back yard out and make all clubs have a salary cap. It's thoughs horrible words EXTORTION and EXPLOITATION again. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Sepp Blatar is a pain in the arse when English teams are involved in the transfer market. He should be sacked from FIFA with immediate effect.

this guy has prob wiv the english and the premier league nd i think it is cos we have a better league and have the money that they dont so he's jelous

I kinda agree. United have bought the Da Silva twins, possebon, Anderson and Dodo from Brazil but only Rafael Da Silva and Anderson will play regularly. In that sense the ones NOT playing won't get any better but would be playing regularly if still in Brazil. If United play them all next season then fair enough but if they sign £30m players instead then the youngsters don't improve.

blatter has an agenda against british teams , its a two rule game one for the british and another for the others
By mark.. Posted June 28 2009 at 8:40 AM.
blatter is an idiot. european teams have been taking kids from south american for years, (ie messi, Pato) but as usual it's not a problem until it's an english team thats doing it.
By Richard.. Posted June 28 2009 at 7:47 AM.
what is it with Blatter and Platini? are they worried the strength of European football is moving away from their beloved countries? is that why they are trying to stop/hinder/obstruct everything that is happening in the U.K.?
By don conway.. Posted June 28 2009 at 4:46 AM.
And what would have happened to Lionel Messi if Barcelona hadn't stepped in and sponsored him as a junior talent, including paying for his growth hormone treatments?
We would have never had him as a player.
Blatter's idea is all for the clubs, and not in the interests of the players and the individuals whatsoever.
It's despicable.

Blatter used to be President of the World Society of Friends of Suspenders (check it on the net it's true)
That is all he is good enough for. He has an agenda against English football clubs. He is also a member of Real Madrid. All true and can be checked.

This old fart just like Mosley wants to ruin football. They are both out of touch with the sports they claim to represent respectively. They spend more time cooped behind closed doors in the Swiss & French Alps only popping out now and again to get a spanking or two, to leave their ar*es looking like grilled paninis.
In short, HANDS OFF ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE & ENGLISH TEAMS!!!!
By Arsenal411.. Posted June 28 2009 at 1:31 AM.
Carlos Alberto did,'t slam UTD, he slammed ALL European clubs involved in this practice. But Blatter really should be stopping third parties or agents from owning players - that should be the preserve of the clubs.
By footballffan.. Posted June 28 2009 at 1:30 AM.
All the top teams get young players. Arsene Wenger has reaped from french youngsters and still is. Rafa Benitez is the same, and Chelski, also the big clubs abroad. It is just because it is England getting the best kids now, that the Latins don't like. If it was Real Madrid, Barca, Inter and AC Milan nothing is said. Those numptees in FIFA, EUFA are so corrupt it is unbelieveable the inconsistences in their dealing with England, and their dealings with other countries. No wonder all the big clubs are going to break away, and form their own European BIG league. Blatter and Platini are scared to death of this, they will be out for sure!
By Isaidso.. Posted June 28 2009 at 1:11 AM.
Blatter knows nothing about football , we should listen to Platini , but he,s also against english football , do theyu do anything about Real Madrid ,no they get backhanders , it,s gone on for year,s ,like the Highest Bidder get,s the world and european cupk,s It,s EXTORTION .ALL THESE FOREIGN FOOTBALLERS COME HERE FOR WAGES THEY WILL NOT GET ELSEWHERE IN EUROPE OR THE WORLD .Real Madrid must be getting themselves into an awfull lot of DEBT,will Blta or Platini Cap them ,no way. EXTORTIONATE !
By Dinner56.. Posted June 28 2009 at 12:26 AM.
mann these people are jealous of an english team becoming better than any other european teams!!! its not lies its facts!!!!
By zeee.. Posted June 27 2009 at 11:56 PM.
You are inconsistent people, Blatter. In fact with economic situation right now, you are the one who like Real Madrid doing the transfer of Ronaldo for 80 million pound. Why don't you do your own job to stop transfer like that ?
The other hand in previous season, you said about slavery of player too? You like Real Madrid so much, don't you ?
If you want 6 + 5 rules, why don't you push FA to take away the 90 minutes rules also ? It makes club can't doing the investment for native young player.
