DON'T sell Alonso....He's our best player last season will still be if he remains a Red. We don't need anymore midfielders. Shd sell Babel, Lucas and Voronin. MUST buy an English striker....Crouch, Agbonlahor or Heskey mebbe

alonso and mascherano is the world best player.selling one or both of them will definitly have an effect on our tittle hope-mostly and negative effect.so rafa should raise the salary of mascherano because it does not reflect the type of player he is.and for alonso rafa should convince him with his magical love

Sell him if the right price come in. Get Gerrard to play at Alonso position and play up front with 2 strikers. (preferably Torres & Villa/Silva).

Do not keep a player whose heart is not with Lpool. We do not need a CRonaldo!

Selling Alonso will be the biggest mistake Rafa can possibly make. He controls the MF for us in a way nobody else can and makes the team tick! The only players in his league of similar quality are Xavi, Iniesta and Pirlo. Javi Martinez is a prospect but will set us back .
Alonso and Mascherano are "ESSENTIAL" for our title push next season so they are staying! I will be happy if the transfer window closed tomorrow to be quite frank if it means we can keep the current squad including Johnson.

If we have to get one more signing I hope we sign an unhappy Dutch winger from Real whether it will be Robben or Schneijder. These players have pace, can dribble, cross and add something extra to the team. Saviola will be nice, but he is a little bit light weight, doesn't seem too interested in coming to the Prem and is over priced. We need strong players with a winning mentality, that can adapt to the Prem quickly and not become homesick or complain about the weather.

Villa is 28 and will cost too much and isn't needed. Gerrard and Torres complement each other good enough. All we need is Babel, Ngog and dare I say Voronin to step up and provde ample cover if one of them gets injured.

Darby or Carragher can be cover for Johnson if Arbeloa decides he wants to move to the Real bench. In any case don't belive in media BS!

i like alonso a lot but if a bid comes of 25m or over sell him and the 10m remaining of the transfer kitty add that and 15m through more player sales would be 50m buy a winger david silva for 20-25m then buy a central midfielder javi martinez or other for about 10-15m then a secound striker like michael owen for 5m because i think david villa will stll be expensive and gerard is great off torres and we need a midfielder that can replace alonso also david silva because he can shoot long distances cuts in he can boost liverpools atack

as a big liverpool fan i want alonso to stay, but signing villa and the like will make a big difference to the team. it would be best if we could sell lucas and dossena etc to get the money instead of selling alonso. the main reason why man utd won the PL is because they have a good depth in their squad....they had tevez, scholes, giggs etc to come on off the bench, liverpool didnt have that last year, the big players need to stay at liverpool go make the depth of the squad better

Plan A: buy silva & villa, drop gerrard into alonso role

Plan B: buy silva play kuyt in alonso role :s

Plan C: buy silva play lucas in goal & reina in alonso role

it simple if i were poo id say to madrid right offer £25M & once you have that & along with flogging 1 or 2 others as well as the money for the other signing rafa said you have youd then have enough to buy villa from valencia for £40m & as you are signing him gerrard would slot back in alongside alonso to replace alonso & villa would replace gerrard beind torres & youd have another 20goals in your team

hope this doesnt happen bein a united fan but i think this what should be done & if it was itd more or less guarntee the prem

If we have to let alonso leave it should be sooner rather than later, if we sell the other flops, lucas, babel, dossena etc. we will have extra money to buy Villa and Silva. We need to have it sorted before we play any friendly's so that we can get those players working together as a unit, maybe then w ewill win PL.

sell alonso i say, he is a geat player but i think if we can 25-30 million for him that would be a sweet sell plus more money for rafa to bring in another world class striker as thats what liverpool need, then he needs to purchase a right sided midfielder !!

we desperatley need a right sided player a natural one not someone like kuyt makshift...

sell alonso bring in silva or villa and maybe a natural right like lennon or joaquin...

please make an effort bring David Villa and keep both Javier Mascherano and Alonso for at least one more season as Manchester utd has been doing in resent years, you can't fight with Real Mdrid the tittle will be for Liverpool this seasons
