Ferguson should sign Benzema if he really wants to play for United, which is far from certain. Bet he'll be going to Italy or Spain after the upcoming World Cup. Antonio Valencia would be a good acquisition, and so would Giuseppe Rossi be. Having Hargreaves back from injury is like signing a top international player. If Darron Gibson adjusts to the pace of the Premier League he will surpass Anderson next season. I suspect Anderson has already peaked and will not be able to develop the skill and intelligence required at a club like United.

I think the exit of Ronaldo and Tevez will not be felt much by united if fergie brings in quality replacements 4 the departing duo..the capture of Benzema and Valencia will be suitable repacements..but i think we need steel in our midfield, we need a hardman like Roy Keane who we are yet to replace so SAF should be on the look out 4 the hardman! if i were in fergies position i'll go 4 Yaya Toure..the lad is a midfield marshall go 4 him fergie he is big, strong and skillful...

its a pity to see carlito go but sign benzema who has as much energy, pace and better scoring ability, get valencia, buy sniejder as it clearly showed against barca that we need a creative midfielder who can run at defenders and strike as well as pass , carrick just doesn't cut it. and buy a young defensive midfielder someone like a makele or mascherano to reduce the pressure on the center backs. i feel we should play park in a central role , have u seen him play for korea in that role the man is magnificent and wt his energy and dribbling ability i think he would do well. and pls get maicon from inter and we will be unstoppable

we will miss ronaldo and tevez but fergie manages to make the team better and stronger and i think he will do so again! we need 5-6 players,i think Alexis Sanchez,douglas costa,benzema,valencia and david silva would do well,they are all young and will improve at manu. we also need a cm,i dont no who though. i also think fergie should try and bring on rafael and fabio as they are both young and have the potenial and give foster a chance in goal!

First of all, let me make it clear that Barcelona is not better than Manchester Utd. They where simply the better team on the day. However seeing as we have lost CR7 and El apache I believe this is yet another opportunity to strengthen and balance team. A more traditional winger in Valencia, a better finisher in Benzema not forgetting they will only get better at United, and at 23 and 21 respectivly they are excellent additions to United. Wilson Palacios would be another excellent addition, we should really consider him. The only issue in my view is where to place Giggs and Scholes at what point do the become liabilities? United 4 Life.

The Champions League final proved that United need to improve their TACTICS and their PASSING especially in the MIDFIELD.

They urgently need some better quality midfield players and probably a new first team coach with new ideas.

Spending £25M on Benzema will not address the team's shortcomings nor provide a replacement for Ronaldo.

Man United should have kept Tevez, signed Benzema and got rid of Berbatov. As the former United manager Tommy Doherty said about Berbatov: " Van der Sar, the goalkeeper, covers more ground than Berbatov". Fergie has got it wrong with Tevez, he treated poor Carlos badly. It's another mistake, like getting rid of Jaap Stam while he was still a top player, and getting rid of Ruud van Nistlerooy two seasons too early.

SAF must know that the midfield has to be strengthend, lack of a good midfield player was the downfall against Barca.He must have someone in mind so lets leave it to him. After all he hasn't done so bad at knowing what is best for United. His best signing would be to bring back Querez from Portugal and get them playing like when they done the treble.

Don't forget the class we already have with our Brazilians. We have the best young centre half in Brazil plus the da Silva twins, Possebon, Anderson and Nani. If we can buy da Costa he would be the perfect replacement for Ronaldo in terms of ability and style. Don't worry about his age look at Messi.

Before every season starts Uniteds rivals strengthen their squad & Everyone writes United off. As the season goes on United gets stronger & wins the title. Why do people worry so much about Ronaldo going. When Beckhan & Ruud left for RM we never met them in a competitive fixture, so its no big deal. Of course SAF will strengthen & he will put together another great squad. This man has built 5 teams in 20 years & all won silverware,so this is no different to before. Why consider losing Frazier Campbell? Look at Sylvan Ebanks-Blake's performances last season, top scorer in the Championship and Pique's performances for Barcelona. Macheda and Wellbeck not ready - yet but Gibson is looking good for the future - if he isn't sold which would be a big mistake. No chance for Robben when he snubbed us for Chelsea. I believe Fergie should go for 2 wingers= Valencia and Ribery/Silva/Ashley Young, 1 playmaker= Not sure who.

The RB position should be alright with Brown and Da Silva sharing dat berth. Though VDS is aging, i believe no new keeper is needed but rather we should ease Foster into dat position coz he's dat gud.

Tevez was a fantastic player at united but unfortuinately he was not impressing his manager. Common, Sir Alex is one of the best in the Game he knew what he wanted from Tevez. maybe it was more goals and less Running in the field. And Tevez is a striker not a Defensive midfielder. I think Benzema will be a much more better player than Tevez. However thank you Tevez, your time at United was great with Trophies. Good Luck where ever you are going.

Tevez does'nt score enough goals. Utd need 20/25 goals a season forward, even more so that Ronaldo has gone. Even more important they need some creative midfielders. Park G Sung, Fletcher, Anderson not good enough. Giggs and scholes are too old now. Utd need to find some creative midfielders that can score. Unless these problems are address. We may see a repeat of the Chp leag final in the premership as well. Look what L pool did to us.

What does Sam mean Fergie likes rotation too much, using the strength of your squad is how you win titles as United have and plus i trust his judgement to know that he wouldn't bring in anything other than class and that is what benzema is. Macheda has came on late in 2 games an scored a couple of goals. Hardly makes him a great player. As weve seen when he starts games from the start, he isnt that good.

As for Wellbeck wait an see. Maybe he'll be a bit part player at Utd. But i dont see him doing much good.

benzema is better than tevez and will fill his void. With £75mil left from the 100 if united do buy benzema, fergie will have plenty of money to repair the mid field with the departure of ronaldo and the ageing giggs and scholes as well longterm injured hargreaves.
My favourites are david silva, douglas costa, alexis sanchez, ribery, de rossi, iniesta and xavi(i wish)
two other positions that fergie will have to look at maybe this summer or nxt is the right back position and goalkeeper with neville and VDS near to retirement. maicon and sergio ramos has been linked both RB. as well as casillas.

We've won the league season before Tevez came to us, so for me we've lost a good squad player and not a first teamer.

Macheda & Wellbeck will come through this season, and if we can sign Benzema to START in replace of Ronaldo, we can interchange the kids who will be hungry to play ahead of the other...even if as a sub. This will allow more funds to be spent strengthening the midfield as our defence is pretty much settled aside from right-back.

As for the keeper? We're linked with Casillas, so maybe bye-bye Foster whic is sad as I rate him, but as someone said above, maybe Fergie is building a team silimar to Barca which is full of HIGH level performers???

Thank you Tevez for the services. I still dont understand why he is owned by a third party which I think ultimately was the main reason he has left. His been sold the highest bidder. If he goes to city it will be for the money and the mediocre of playing for Europa spot but still carry home the fat check unless he goes to Pool or Chelsea. As for Benzema I am sure he is not finish article and would only get better. I am still a believer Berba will come good now that the weight of goals will go to him and Roo. All together cant wait for the season to start.

Tevez has been fantastic for United and I am not the only fan to think he's been excellent for us... - particularly loved the energy, urgency and desire he brought to games but as Barcelona cruely showed us we are still lacking those real special players that Barce seems to have plenty of; Xavi, Messi, innesta. Whilst united has blown their domestic rivals away, the technical passing brillance of Barce taught us a harsh lesson. Simple techical passing outguns sheer determination and energy. This is why I think Fergie has earmarked a number of replacements for the likes of Tevez and possibly others (Berbatov) necessary to compete at the very highest level.

Tevez has been a good player for us but he is not worth what he is wanting. We don't play him enough and he doesnt score wnough goals. Benzema can play all over the place like Ronaldo and thats what we need.

This could be another Ronaldo fiasco all over again if we sign Benzema. He already admitted earlier this year his dream club is Real Madrid. I can see him coming to United and being world class for us but I can also see him a few years down the line doing a Ronaldo on it and pushing for a big money move to Real.......I think he would be a great signing but I would rather have players at United who truly want to play for the club.
