MORES WELLS, Ascot 3.45pm

WATERING has made the track Ascot slower than might have been expected and that should help the much-travelled Mores Wells, who isn't at his best on fast ground.

A genuine group horse when trained by Kevin Prendergast in Ireland, he hasn't cut much of a dash since switching to Richard Gibson in France and his handicap mark is in freefall. He won't have to be back to his very best to beat a fairly unexciting lot in the 4.20pm.

A fast-run race over today's mile and a quarter is ideal and Gerald Mosse rides the 20-1 shot.

The 1,000 Guineas winner GHANAATI could improve further in the Coronation Stakes at 3.45pm today.
