FRAIZER CAMPBELL is locked in a cash row with Manchester United that could stop his move to Hull.

England Under-21 hitman Campbell has agreed a £6million switch - but he still has year left on his Old Trafford deal and did not ask for a transfer.

That should entitle him to a loyalty bonus for the remaining 12 months of his contract and Campbell's camp has told United bosses he is prepared to sit tight. He would by rights be able to then talk to prospective buyers in January about a move.

Any buying club would then only face a compensation payment for Campbell.

A source said: "Fraizer wants to go to Hull but didn't ask for a move. The deal needs a sweetener to get it moving. If it doesn't come, Fraizer is prepared to play a waiting game."

Nj - Whats with the club "insults" . . . Let me guess, a scouser?

Sounds like paper talk, granted a years salary of Fraizers wages will be considerable, but its not like its a loss of money . . . he'll be walking straight into probably double the terms at Hull City!

Personally id like to see us keep hold of young Frazier. Hes shown good promise, whether that is good enough for United is another matter but id hate to see us sell a good looking young player unless he wants to go to further his career. We're down on two of our attacking players. Personally id sort the time out elsewhere (centre midfield for a start) and let these youngsters attempt to step up!

Since when does having money mean we have to spend it?

So he wants to go to Hull, but also wants a loyalty bonus, explain that again?

He ain't gonna command that kind of money after another year in the reserves, numb nuts!

i don't blame the lad it isn't going to be 30k or any small amount is it ??? Dull are willing to pay manyoo 6 million quid ,if campbell waits 12 months that 6 million quid could be in his back pocket as a signing on fee instead of manyoo's coffers,,Dull are not prepaired to pay him 6 million quid in wages this year only 2-3 million ,he could double his money for doing nothing, its not like Dull would be a players first choice team anyway after their performances last season and especially Mr Brown's antics

If he is prepared to miss a full season of EPL football with the Tigers for 30k. it calls into question his desire to play for us.
He is worshipped by the Hull fans after his loan season with us but this will undoubtedly sour the relationship. If he prefers reserve team football with one of the bigger clubs in a years time, which could well happen thats his choice.
I have heard of shooting yourself in the foot but this more like shooting yourself through the head.

So its a cash thing? I call it greed.

He is 21 with the best years ahead of him he's going to be a multi-millionaire and he's willing to waste a year of football for a little extra cash.
He should be hungry to play not for money especially at 21 he needs games to develop.

I would give anything to have his talents I'd take a pay cut on my 35k a YEAR salary just to run out for my beloved Middlesbrough every week. Makes me sick he doesn't deserve to be a footballer.

OK money does make the world go round, but he aint short of a few bob is he now??

Rant over.

Thats right lad you listen to your agent.... sit out this season and totally miss the opportunity to play a full season leading up to a world cup ..and for what £30,000... and we fans thought the money wasnt everything, players wanted to play!!!!!!!!
Knock in 20 goals you may JUST get a world cup chance, rotten in the reserves and you'll get a slot on the beach ...... WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE FRAIZER!!!!
