CHELSEA and Liverpool are set to do battle for PSG ace Stephane Sessegnon this summer.

The Benin international has refused to commit his future to the French club and would attract bids from the Premier League of around £12million.

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal were close to signing midfielder Sessegnon, 24, last summer.

But the playmaker, who has hit two goals in 15 games for his country, decided to move to the Parc des Princes on a four-year deal.

Newcastle have also scouted him in the past.

Sessegnon, who has a scoring ratio of one in six for PSG, revealed: "I want to play in an ambitious team. PSG have done well this season and it must carry on. I want to know what the club plans to do next season.

"That's why I'm not going to say that I am staying 100 per cent. I know how it will come across if I then decide to leave."

He is a good fast player with a lot of technic on dribbling, I hope Liverpool signs him.
