UNSIGHTED for the goal and probably caught by surprise. Had little else to do in the first half but still dropped a cross. Hardly tested in second period but dealt comfortably with routine stuff. Still does not look his old self.

GOT forward well as usual and was not hassled too much. Allowed to get into attacking positions but did not impose himself on his full-back. Looked to be in trouble with injury late on but shook it off.
Mins on pitch 90, tackles 1, passes (successful) 52 (41), shots (on target) 0 (0), cards (yellow/red) 0/0

LIKE Terry, must be disappointed at part in Saha strike. Nervous start but improved. Role later reduced to sweeping up as team-mates ensured most of play was at the other end. Fended off Fellaini with little fuss.
Mins on pitch 90, tackles 2, passes (successful) 38 (30), shots (on target) 0 (0), cards (yellow/red) 0/0

DID not get close enough to Saha for Everton goal but steadied himself. Played captain's role to perfection for the rest of the game by calming team-mates and getting the backline organised. Was not unduly troubled.
Mins on pitch 90, tackles 0, passes (successful) 59 (51), shots (on target) 0 (0), cards (yellow/red) 0/0

STRUGGLED with the heat at times but defended soundly. Got forward well but lacked composure when he blasted over just before the break. Supported his forwards more in the latter stages and involved in the better moves.
Mins on pitch 90, tackles 3, passes (successful) 44 (42), shots (on target) 1 (0), cards (yellow/red) 0/0

NOT as effective as usual and lucky not to be booked in the first half. Looked like the effects off injury lay-off were finally catching up with him. Was not a great surprise when he was hauled off on the hour for Ballack.
Mins on pitch 61, tackles 0, passes (successful) 29 (26), shots (on target) 1 (0), cards (yellow/red) 0/0

HEADED clearance that led to Saha strike was poor. Also slow to close down Frenchman. Got a ticking off during interval by Terry and Cole. Settled down after that. Went into book for clash with Saha.
Mins on pitch 90, tackles 1, passes (successful) 66 (59), shots (on target) 0 (0), cards (yellow/red) 1/0

PICKED out a great pass to Malouda in the build-up to equaliser. Had more influence as game wore on as he dictated pace. Brilliant technique to pull a 25-yard wonder goal out of nowhere to win the cup. Booked.
Mins on pitch 90, tackles 2, passes (successful) 76 (63), shots (on target) 2 (1), cards (yellow/red) 1/0

CONTINUED fine form under Hiddink and sent over a terrific cross for the equaliser. Got to the goalline late on and teed up Drogba. Should have crowned fine show with goal as his shot was shown to have crossed line.
Mins on pitch 90, tackles 3, passes (successful) 39 (28), shots (on target) 3 (0), cards (yellow/red) 0/0

INTELLIGENT in possession and a threat when his side recovered from conceding so early. Linked the play superbly. Outstanding display. Might have scored Chelsea's second but lifted his shot inches over.
Mins on pitch 90, tackles 3, passes (successful) 35 (28), shots (on target) 3 (1), cards (yellow/red) 0/0

IN the mood from the off and had no trouble getting in front of Everton's defence to head Chelsea level. His opponents got to grips with him in the second half but that only created more space for his team-mates.
Mins on pitch 90, tackles 0, passes (successful) 28 (15), shots (on target) 2 (2), cards (yellow/red) 0/0

BALLACK ( Essien, 61min) 7. Could have gifted Everton a second when he lost Saha in the box. In general he gave his side a bit more attacking impetus when he came on. His presence in the final third gave Everton more to think about and it enabled Lampard to cause more damage around the box.
NOT USED: Ivanovic, Kalou, Belletti, Di Santo, Mancienne, Hilario.
