LEWIS HAMILTON is "intoxicated" with the trappings of fame - according to F1 legend Sir Jackie Stewart.

Three-time champ Stewart, who came second to Hamilton in a poll to find the sport's all-time playboy, insists he needs to put the brakes on his glitzy lifestyle.

Hamilton, 24, has a Pussycat Dolls girlfriend, Nicole Scherzinger, and has partied with P Diddy and had a meeting with Nelson Mandela.

But Stewart said: "It is intoxicating when you're meeting a lot of famous people and being given privileges and have a pop-star girlfriend.

"You're going to places and meeting people you can only have dreamed of meeting.

"When you win the world championship, you're hugely spoilt. You get taken everywhere and you earn the money - all of the things that can distract you and get you on the wrong trail.

"And because you are the world champion you're given credit for more wisdom than you actually have. It takes time to come of age.

"He's on a rocket ship at the moment. The speed of that affects the rest of your life."

I think Lewis is a brill he appears very level headed and im happy he is all love up. yeah he is now a house hold name but you never see him falling out of clubs like that tart jordan leave him alone.
