WOLVES hope to make Standard Liege defender Oguchi Onyewu, 27, their first Premier League signing.

Boss Mick McCarthy will splash £3million on the 6ft 4in giant, who has won 40 caps for the United States and had a spell on loan at Newcastle in 2007.

If he's free then yeah, wots there to lose? i cant see wolves paying £3m when he's free so not sure if theres any truth in this?????

Why would needs Wolves need to splash 3 million pounds? Gooch is out of contract and is free to sign on a Bosman at the end of the season.

Most rumors in the US have him linked to Marseilles, PSG, and Borussia Mönchengladbach (assuming survive their scare with relegation).

ive seen gooch,play 20/30 times,hes emmense,strong,gt reader of game,murder on corners and set plays,fat allidice got it wrong at ncastle most of there top players wanted him to stay,GO GET MCARTHY AND GET WOLVES, GT AGAIN LEE FULHAM SUPP
