JOBI McANUFF reckons cash-strapped Watford are set for a summer of upheaval.

Hornets boss Brendan Rodgers is already facing a challenge to keep strikers Tommy Smith and Tamas Priskin.

And winger McAnuff said: "It's important to hang on to our best players but it's also obvious some players are going to have to leave.

"It will be a bit of a difficult time for us over the summer but we've just got to get on with it because with this squad we should be aiming for a top-half finish."

Midfielder Ross Jenkins misses out with a dislocated shoulder so on-loan Spurs starlet Danny Rose is poised to deputise.

ROBBIE SAVAGE is desperate to survive Nigel Clough's severe summer cull at Derby.

Clough is ready to wield the axe by booting out over £4million worth of flops signed by former Rams boss Paul Jewell.

Roy Carroll, Andy Todd, Emmanuel Villa - a £2m signing - and Mile Sterjovski will all be booted out this summer.

But Savage pleaded: "The squad was too big, there were too many people to keep happy. The squad will be narrowed down next season and whoever is here will deserve to be here.

"Hopefully next season I can play a bigger part. It is about playing, of course, and hopefully I will get my chance.
