I've only played five games since recovering from injury so, while the rest of the lads are looking forward to a well-earned rest, I'm raring to go.
With a physique like mine, I can't afford to rest. I'm giving myself two weeks off and then I'll be back running and going to the gym.
I have to do that just to finish near the middle of the pack in pre-season training, whereas some players can party all summer, not even look at a gym and still be way ahead of me in fitness. It must be genetic - thanks, mum.
After a pretty successful season at Blackpool, it should be an exciting summer because so many things are up in the air, not least who our manager will be.
Obviously we all want Tony Parkes to get the job permanently because he has done so well since taking over from Simon Grayson in January.
Tony has unbelievable experience and knowledge of the game and he has also shown he has a knack for bringing in great players like Charlie Adam and DJ Campbell. The gaffer is very professional and he proved that again this week in training.
We all expected a bit of an easy week with us now being safe from relegation, but we were running and playing at a really high tempo.
It will also be exciting to see who we sign and who we are linked with. Like the fans, we really hope we can sign Charlie and DJ because in my opinion they have been our best players in the last couple of months and would really help us to progress next year.
I've had an up and down season, after starting well and then missing three months with the injury.
The highlights for me were scoring the winner against Southampton on Sky and beating Preston away.
Hopefully, I can stay injury free next year, score some more goals and we can all surprise a few more big clubs.

Good luck for next season.
