Stablemates have nicknamed the Nottingham's WBC super-middleweight champion 'Rigsby' and 'Van Hoogstraten' after he ploughed ring earnings into a string of houses.
Froch, 31, makes the first defence of his title against Jermain Taylor at Foxwoods, Connecticut, on Saturday and will invest his £250,000 purse into more property.
He laughs off comparisons with the star of cult sitcom Rising Damp and notorious property tycoon Nicholas Van Hoogstraten.
Froch, unbeaten in 24 professional fights, said: "My property portfolio is expanding and going very strong.
"I am not stupid with my money. I am earning decent money every time I box so why squander it on a fast car and a watch full of diamond baguettes?"
Froch captured the title vacated by Joe Calzaghe's when he outpointed Canadian Jean Pascal six months ago.
Now 'The Cobra' hopes to persuade the undefeated Welshman to come out of retirement. Promoter Mick Hennessy has guaranteed Calzaghe £5million to face Froch at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Froch said: "When Calzaghe vacated the WBC belt I lost sleep over that. I wanted to fight him to prove I could knock him out in style and beat the supposed best super-middleweight in the world easily. He is not even in my video library as a top fighter."
Ex-middleweight champ Taylor, 30, has beaten Bernard Hopkins twice and has just two losses in 31 fights, both to fellow- American Kelly Pavlik.

Carl Froch last night against Taylor proved all the critics wrong and showed what a true champion he is. He is our only middleweight world champion at the present so lets get behind him instead of knocking him. He was just unfortunate to be around when Calzaghe was an established great champion therefore not getting any true recognition or press coverage.

It would be crazy for Calzaghe to come out of retirment to fight Froch as he would be in a lose lose situation and would end up getting knocked out ruining his legacy in the process. This is the Carl Froch era now so lets support him on his quest to clean up and unite the division and stop comparing him to past champions which is so unfair and disrespectful to all concerned.

carl froch will ko taylor. Froch fights boxers in their prime not when they are passed it and old. Like a certain jc did. The guy bored me to death with boring fights. Why did jc fight manfredo?

carl froch is a fine young ambassador to his profession, but he should have waited until after next weekend before he makes comments about fighting j.c. {a living legend} carl is in for a surprise wake up call, j.t. has held his own with the best of them, and i believe he will give carl a shock,

If I was Carl I'd keep my eye on the ball and focus on Jermain Taylor next week rather than talking about Joe Calzaghe.
We all saw what happened to Junior Witter when he talked too much about Ricky Hatton before his fight with Timothy Bradley last year and the same thing could easily happen to Carl with his obsession with wanting to fight JC.
JT is going to be an extremely tough fight for Carl and he is going to be at 110% to beat him, so, keep your opinions to yourself for the moment and let your fists do the talking next week!

He will certainly need a house to hide away in when he gets humiliated by Jermain Taylor next month. His crazy, arrogant rant about bring better than Calzhage is nothing short of insane and means he has now got the whole of Great Britain hoping Taylor knocks him out in the first round. This will be Froch's final fight, and means he wil retire without having gefeated anyone of class. Joe beay Hopkins and Roy Jones in America and Eubank and kessler in the UK. That is a true champion.
