Hatton looked like a 1950 oldsmobile with no motor, no brakes, no gears, no fuel, no driver at the wheel (and certainly no brain in whatever was behind the wheel) there was nothing here except a tiny sliver of gravity, helping the old crock fall like an old bent empty beer can clanking and slipping down a slight incline at about 2 mph till he came to rest on the curb..lights out

'hatton is the best pound for pound at his weight' That comment just shows that Vinny Davis is a typical Hatton fan who knows nothing about boxing and only watches Hatton fights. Pound for Pound means the best if size/weight was not an issue, so how can someone be the best pound for pound at their weight? Idiot. Anyway this fight is gonna be hard for Ricky and I think his bad lifestyle out of the ring is finally gonna catch up with him. He will either be totally battered for 12 rounds by Pacquiao, or Pacman will finish him off in the later rounds much like Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather did. The biggest fight Ricky can hope for after this will be against another top Light Welterweight like the winner of Bradley-Holt or to tempt Amir Khan to come up from Lightweight to LWW for a grandslam Best of Britain matchup.

Well i think Ricky is undergoing a lot of pressure from this coming fight with Manny because he is unsure of his victory as well as many of the British boxing fans so he has to come up with assurance to all his followers that this coming fight will be hurdled and proved to them by coming up with the future fight plan. I think this is good psychologically specially if you are wary of what really would transpire on the coming fight. This will take away unnecessary worries before fight time and concentrate on the training. Usually this is the basic technique for success. Making a higher goal than what is presently available. The only problem would be some will consider this presumptuous. Anyway all i can say is, Ricky give us a good fight. A much better fight than David and Oscar did. If you can approximate Marquez performance the better and if you get lucky with the scorecard it would be best for you. Thanks and good luck.

I dont get it... some people just want to plot stories of their own. We all know what happens to people who are overconfident. Look at Hatton, he is talking like he already won the fight, like Manny is just going to be an easy walk off fight for him. I dont think Hatton knows what kind of a fighter Manny is, Manny is not afraid of anyone, and he is yet to hit the canvas here in US soil. I can already tell after May 2, people will be making excuses once Hatton lose, and how embarrassed he will be for not having any plans if he lost.

I would like seeing Manny and Floyd boxing each other. There are comments that manny doesn't have a chance with Floyd jr. Lets bring them on who has the big mouth than the action. Pacquiao is overrated. He maybe good enough to beat Hatton, because Hatton himself has a bloated rating. A washed out Morales beat Pac in the first fight. Marquez was robbed... twice. ODLH was a shell of his old self. Don't be deluded, Pacquiao fans, Manny is a very good fighter, but his popularity is overshadowing his real capabilities as a boxer. Philippinos are so into him because their country has not produced a lot of real good boxers. I only know three very good fighters to come out of there before Pacman -- Pancho Villa, Elorde and Salavarria.

i hope ricky has plan b unlike odlh. odlh was planning for big fights after his bout with mp - pbf, mosley but look at him now. he was lost. he doesn't now what to do with his career.

i'm not saying that mp would whoop his ass which is most probably, but i think it is wise for him not to look past mp. i hope that he trains hard and give us fans the fight of our lifetime.

The closest Ricky can come is a consolation prize for a "no retreat no surrender" attitude. I predict he's gonna get hit a lot in the body and in the face to the fact that he lacks defense. He stands no chance against Pacman's speed and power. DLH has quicker hands than him but got too scared to fire back against Pacman's blazing fists. Those two guy might fight you just because of your marketability status but there's no way in my opinion you can beat them! Ricky can't even equalled their skills and speed so better wake up 'coz maybe your still sleeping..

I think the Pacman-Hitman fight is pretty even. Both have a very good chance to win. That said, I think Ricky should not look beyond this fight and just focus on training. He should not underestimate Manny, even with the size difference. In case he loses he should not blame the referee, but should be man enough to admit superior competition. Mayweather obviously controlled their match, and Ricky should give credit to that.
