WOLVES are set to sign Aston Villa flop Marlon Harewood on loan for the rest of the season.

The Championship leaders hope to make the striker's move permanent for £2.5million in the summer.

Boss Mick McCarthy said: "Maybe he's got something to prove and, hopefully, he can do that if he comes."

marleen will b a gd signing for any team hoping to secure promotion from the championship, i remember when he was with us at west ham, he scored 20-odd goals the season we went up n 16 premiership goals the season after, he will never be a prolific premiership centreforward but will be one of those who brings teams up from the championship
