Britney Spears' sex, booze and burgers ban
POOR old BRITNEY SPEARS. Her dad has banned her from alcohol, junk food and sex - talk about Overprotected.
I can exclusively reveal that the pop star - who made her comeback on the X Factor last night - is being forced to follow strict rules introduced by worried father Jamie.
The doting dad fears his little girl, 26, is still fragile after her breakdown last year and worried the pressures of a comeback may push her over the edge.
So Papa Spears has made Brit and her minders sign up to a series of OTT pledges he hopes will keep her out of trouble while she's in the UK.
All alcohol will be stopped from getting anywhere near her lips during the entire stay. Her Winnebago at the ITV studios, and her hotel room were only stocked with soft drinks, including water and coke.
And whenever Britney left her hotel room, she was surrounded at all times by a giant entourage to stop her spending any private time with male friends.
The strict regime saw her locked in the Dorchester Hotel all day yesterday until her convoy arrived to whisk her off to the X Factor studios in Wembley.
The pop princess was under curfew immediately after the live show too. She wasn't allowed to hit any London clubs but I heard rumours of a brief post-curfew appearance at G.A.Y club.
So no booze, no sex and no fast food - the singer was told by Jamie she had to stick to a strict diet of vegetables and rice.
A source close to the Britney team told me: "All of this is ridiculous - Jamie's set up more protocols here than there is for a Royal visit.
"Jamie has felt guilty for a long time about letting Britney go off the rails and is determined it won't happen again.
"He thinks if he can remove all the temptations and vices that led her down her destructive path she can finally move on from her troubled past.
"But already it's proving difficult so he's demanding staff must follow his orders - and Britney has to do the same."
Well, I for one think Jamie should keep it up - Britney's not looked, or sounded, this good in a long, LONG time.

I think Britney should of sang then worriy about her dancing. To prove that she can sing we always hear her songs dubbed. This show is about people that can sing.
Britney has potential to be her best if she didnt have to be fake. The problem is Britney is already in the lime light she doesnt feel that she needs to make the effort of singing live. I know its hard to dance and sing so just sing thats what we care more about.
Its also a shame that she didnt take any notice of the contestants or the show in general. They were singing her songs that must of ment something. I will always be a fan of Britney but I want to hear her real voice.

Britney Spears....What a load of rubbish, she looked like the amateur and the contestants singing live looked like the professionals.

Given the amount of negative comments Ms Spears 'guest artist' appearance seems to have generated, perhaps this will act as a 'wake up call' to the show's Producers. For example if Performers or indeed their Management/Agents wish for their artists to enjoy the commercial/financial benefits associated with performing on a Saturday night prime-time TV show such as X factor; to a viewing audience of over 10 million people, perhaps their 'guest artist' contracts should state 3 basic requirements as a minimum: You will ..
1) Mentor the contestants.
2) Actually watch the show and give comment if asked to do so.
3) Sing Live - in order have credibility with the viewing public; given the contestants sing live)
If the artists/management are unable/unwilling to agree to such terms for whatever reason; ; then no deal - book someone else - surely anything less is just not fair to either the contestants or indeed to the spirit of the show?

Whilst i felt and still feel sorry for Britney i was VERY disappointed with her on the x factor,
such a big build up all week and then she comes on miming badly barely says 2 words and leaves!,
Miley Cyrus should have had more of a build up i think and to get the contestants to sing her songs and her not really have anything to do with them unlike Mariah Carey did (and i dont like her)
I think the x factor disappointed alot of people last night.
