Britney: K-Fed called time on marriage

With Miss SPEARS rolling into Blighty this weekend she's building up to it nicely by revealing it was KEVIN FEDERLINE who ended their marriage.

The singer filed for divorce in 2006, but has confessed it was actually 'aspiring rapper' K-FED who called time on their brief time in the sun.

She told Rolling Stone magazine: "I didn't think my husband was gonna leave me."

Brit also revealed her sadness over the split because sons, Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, can't enjoy a traditional upbringing.

The 26-year-old star - who currently gets three visits a week with the boys - said: "To be a really good mom, I feel your child needs to be your full-time job.

"I want to raise my kids and share all of those precious moments with them.

"If Kevin hadn't left, I'd be with my babies 24/7. But since they're almost like twins, they both take care of each other.

"I think they look like me. They don't look like their father at all.

"Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they're such special people."

Britney is also amazed - and unsurprisingly if you consider the parents - by how intelligent her children are.

She added: "They're learning so much, and it's new, and you never know what they're going to say, and they're so smart yet so innocent."
