WHERE the stars go, I follow. So today I'm blogging from the super hotel Atlantis on the new Palm in Dubai

That's because top celebrities from the UK and US are decamping here for the weekend for a lavish £20 million launch party to celebrate the opening of what's being described as the most spectacular hotel in the world.

I'm not surprised either. The sun is out and everyone is gearing up for the official opening in a few hours where we'll be entertained by Kylie Minogue and the biggest fireworks display in history.

But now the juicy stuff. I was checking out the massive water park at the hotel where you plunge down speedy slides through shark-filled lagoons when I bumped into Lily Allen.

She arrived yesterday and was already showing off her hot new body in a skimpy brown bikini. "You can't see the sharks," she told me. Phew!

At breakfast Janet Jackson (skinny again btw) was downing humble scrambled eggs with the rest of us. And I can report she's completely overtaken in the diva stakes by Michael Jordan, who's followed everywhere he goes by five burly security guards. Puh-leaasse!

Kylie remains the biggest showgirl of them all, storming through the airport just after I arrived yesterday with an entourage of 15.

Mary Kate Olsen has been scowling around the hotel looking like a witch (more weight and smiles required girl) with her boyfriend.

June Sarpong stunned everyone by dirty dancing in the trendy Sanctuary club here in a pair of very revealing tight gold leggings.

And keeping track of it all is the always-up-for-a-freebie Vanessa Feltz whose been doing some star spotting herself. "Mischa Barton was off her face!" she whispered on her way to bed. I have no doubt about that!

Tonight's the mega opening launch party so I'll be on the lookout and fill you in again tomorrow.

JANET slim again!!!! Janet was slim at the concerts, so she has BEEN slim...I just saw her at MSG on November 1st and she was slim. It wasnt like she was on a MIRACLE diet in 2 weeks. Im shaking my head.
